    Hence the word "if."

I would imagine Africa is garbage for mongering when compared to South America and Germany. SE Asian prostitutes while may be able to be pampering, on average are terrible at sex. It's just a value-bargain destination. Perhaps the Koreans are good for the spa experience. Japanese are xenophobic and expensive. The scene might be better if you removed the male venue operators from the equation. Never tried a Chinese prostitute.

Hence, the point of the post. If Europe falls, Brazilians fuck better.

But prostitution is illegal in Sweden isn't it? Or at least it is not so active because I met quite number of Swedish mongers in Artemis!

There is always southeast Asia. And parts of Africa too.

The purchase of sex is banned in a great number of countries on ISG, and in one particularly big country that isn't on ISG but has three review / discussion boards on the Internet.

Germany would still be a major commercial sex market if its politicians ever banned the sale of sex. The transactional formats would simply change from large incall places that openly advertise the sale of sex, to a different system. There would still be incall and there would likely still be multiple ladies working at the incall. And as long as Germany doesn't close its borders with countries in Eastern Europe, the type of ladies would be similar and the prices would be lower than most of the rest of the world. But the prices would go up since large incall facilities generate economic efficiencies.

It really becomes a question of how far down the rabbit hole the government is willing to chase, and how destructive it wants to be to other rabbit holes when blowing one rabbit hole up with dynamite.

As seen with Covid-19, it is very easy for a government to shut down a legal, regulated business.

Escorts can operate quite freely, simply ignoring any licensing rules. Advertisement and review sites are generally protected by free speech. They can speak less freely if need be, but more importantly simply relocate to a more friendly jurisdiction. The local government must then decide whether to try and block access to those foreign sites, which is not easy to do.

When the industry starts out with reasonable compromise and discreetness, as has always been the case with Portugal (the Apartadox ads don't list prices and explicit services, and a person must join the review site to read details), there is less fighting to begin with.

Countries that try to prohibit prostitution are usually unsuccessful countries or failed or failing States. Men will always want sex and women will always want money. Why fight what is a natural bodily function? Its like prohibiting people from getting food.

Yes, the one nobody fights about.

The German published address, large incall, legal but regulated model will continue to be attacked by abolitionists.

Spain's true legal / regulated portion of the industry is declining and subject to debate among politicians and labor union demands by the small legal / regulated workforce.

The Nordic is viewed as stupid and unenforceable. You can't criminalize half a transaction.

No one argues and fights about commercial sex (or recreational drugs for that matter) in Portugal because they have the sense to keep it quiet and respectful and hidden.

You contact a lady who is discretely advertising, read her reviews if you want after joining a review site, and go see her (or have her come to you) and no politicians, intellectuals, philosophers, academics and troublemakers are around to harass either party.

All you need is a smart phone and the Internet.

Similar in Germany and there maybe other, but very few nations that may follow the liberation path like German did because it is the industry never vanish no matter how much society or government put pressures on! So they might as well as liberate it, control it and tax it!

Future of prostitution in Germany and beyond

What do you think the prostitution / sex scene be like in Germany and other countries in Europe a decade from now? Will it be the same, more restrictive with possibility of sex purchase bans all over, or more liberal laws?
