Had a great week in Medellin!
Heading to Brazil tonite!
Centro was a blast, more Vennies than ever!
Some obvious very young ones too.
Avoid, and be careful with that.
Hooked up with a few special previous girls, met a bunch of new ones!
Pretty safe till after about 8 pm, then I'm out of there!
Keep your eyes open tho, even daytime.
Most of the hot ones in Centro, I saw in Parque Lleras as well, LOL.
Even some not so hot ones, lol.
I bought a few of them burgers in Lleras, they laughed about charging so much there in Lleras, but liked it obviously.
I'd see them the next day in Botero, back to normal pricing, LOL.
Enjoy!

I just spent 7 nights there.
Pay a few extra dollars a night and get the top floor room with king size bed.
Has a big TV and balcony.
It's not luxurious, but not a roach motel either, LOL.
Great AC, I had no problems with the shower or hot water.
No problem with bringing girls with ID either.
They don't even register them, they just hold their ID til they leave.
It's just very convenient to Botero.
Not a great area after dark obviously, however, the hotel is very safe.

To my knowledge no roaches; only problems with the shower (too hot or cold) and the noise.

1 million percent it is in pesos. If he paid 225 USD (850 K), he should be banned from mongering LOL.

Thanks again for taking the time to write this terrific report. It was fun to read. I would love to hear the rest of the Centro stories.

Day 2.
So we go back to my place, she tells me I can have all of her for 325. I laugh out loud. We negotiate to 225 plus cost of uber. She was young, very cute. But under the covers it was terrible. I rate it a 2/10. She has experience but we were out of rhythm. Finished off and sent her on her way. Before she left she was trying to secure plans for us to meet again the next day. I blew her off.
Day 3.
I meet my lunch chica from yesterday. We go on a tour together. I forgot to mention, the day before, at lunch, she said she needed help. She was embarrassed to ask but she needed 300 to help pay rent. We have lunch, do a tour and then back to my place. Gave her 250 and knocked her down. She was much better than the chica from the night before. I'd say a 6/10. I sent her on her way and of course it started raining again. I was tired from the tours so I ordered in and ate alone.

I don't know if you understand Spanish but this guy has a review on one. The name of the place is La Psicina Club Swinger.

It's not a motel but a hotel with several floors. Go to Google street view it towers over the Metro. I stayed there once and it seemed very dark and musty at least in the room I had. It's a very old Hotel, but my bet is that there are some killer rooms within the Hotel with nice views. Perhaps go to Trip Advisor and read the reviews for some room tips if your contemplating staying there.

Mansion (Google search Hotel Medellin Plaza), not on booking.com (putas on site).
Hotel Dorado La 70 (in Laureles, 4-5 stars, great breakfast and my fav, chica friendly).
Hotel Haven (in the heart of Poblado, can walk to parque lleras. Didn't stay there yet but chica friendly, free breakfast, my next to try).
San Peters Apartment (in laureles, chica friendly apt near la 70, good rep, no free breakfast).
Hotel Nutibara (in Centro / Downtown, not near cheesy tourist craps. Heavy traffic, loud noises, cheap and chica friendly, 100's of putas within steps, and free desayuno).
Enjoy. I'm going to make landfall this Sat, will be there nearly a Month, PM to hang cause I'll be a lonely lone soldier in puta land LOL.

Background: 40 ish, African American, very limited Spanish, frequent traveler, from the States. About 2-3 weeks before traveling I signed up for SA and I began using Tinder. I had about 5-6 contacts lined up before I touched down..

Hey Reggie1980,
Thanks for the great detailed report. I've got a trip planned early August and this is a great report to refer to while I prepare. I've decided to start sourcing via Tinder's global location add on. Is there anything you would do different about your trip if you were to do it again or that you'd do different for your next trip now that you've got your first trip under the belt?
In regards to finding a guest friendly airbnb did you reach out to hosts prior to booking to clarify or if they didn't explicitly state it in their rules, did you assume that guests are allowed?

Day 1.
I land in Medellin. Immigration was hell. Apparently 3 planes landed at the same time. It took 2-3 hours to get through the lines. I secure a taxi to my apartment in El Poblado. I went through airbnb and made sure I knew the rules for visitors before booking. Very secure building with a guard downstairs 24 hours. A few hours after getting settled in, it begins to rain. It's late, dark, I don't know my way around yet, so I take the safe route and just order food in and relax alone..
1st time I tried to buy something at a bodega on Calle 22 and she starts yelling really loudly "falso falso falso falso falso falso".
Ok give it back, she didn't want to give it back I started yelling, so she gave it back not sure if I got them from the Davivienda ATM at Mallplaza or where?
But I had the issue a few times LOL.
I didn't care, just hand on to somebody else LOL.
Cautionary tale alert. There is a lot of monopoly money in SF jajajajajaa.
Just don't ask me the difference.
