What to Do If You Overstay Your Tourist Visa?

I think the fine is by month, with the first day being the most expensive.

Fines reportedly start at 440,000 pesos and go up, depending on how long you overstay.

If you overstay your tourist visa by less than six months, you can pay your fine, leave Colombian and will still be able to re-enter Colombia with a new tourist visa in the same year (as long as under the 180-day tourist rule). If you overstay by more than six months, you technically qualify for deportation and will need to leave Colombia immediately.

If you overstay you will need to go to Migracion Colombia less than 15 days before your planned departure and ask for a salvoconducto. This is essentially a temporary permit that allows you to be in Colombia even though your tourist visa has expired. In addition, a salvoconducto is only good for 15 days. And you will need to show this to Migracion at the airport when you leave.

When you go to Migracion Colombia for a salvoconducto you need:

    Your passport
Copy of the page of your current passport with your personal data/photo
Copy of your most recent Colombia tourist visa stamp
Credit or debit card to pay the fine and cost of the salvoconducto.
The salvoconducto costs 60,000 pesos and the fine starts at 440,000 pesos and can go as high as over 5 million pesos. But if you have overstayed for less than three months I have heard from a few foreigners the fine can be less than 700,000 pesos.

    Loutron

Today I went searching for loutron and ended up lost. The taxi took me to a different place.

    16 A#9 E500.

Is this still the address, or can someone point me in the right direction.

Everything is done via Whatsapp texting. It's all in Spanish, but you can just pop out of WhatsApp and paste the conversation in the Google Translate app to follow along with what they are telling you. Do not expect them to reply instantly though: it may take them 30 minutes to an hour to reply to you (or more), but they always reply and since they have the chat history, they are well aware of what you've talked with them about previously.l.
Thank you so much for very useful info. Stay safe and have fun.

    Thanks.

Even if they do, don't buy it there, buy it in a 1st class city at a reliable farmacia or don't bother.

Its $2000 usd per month at Walgreens in Chicago, most drug plans cover it.

I have to assume your joking and Balboa posted what I have noticed in Centro. It's pretty much anything goes there with the smarter Chicas squeezing the gringos for as much as possibe. The Chicas have lots of time on their hands to gossip with the other Chicas and compare notes. As an example, more and more Chicas that work Centro are working Lleras these days for a much bigger paycheck. Unfortunately with the Pandemic still raging, and Asia closed, Medellin has become a magnet for mongers over the past several months, hence the Chicas with brains are taking advantage of the situation. However given the dire straits of things in Colombia, there's still plenty of Chicas available to be had for fair pricing, albeit they all won't be cuties, so for the guys that don't need to have a beauty queen, and have time on their hands, patience, and Spanish speaking skills it can be a bonanza.

Silky sleeps while Scarlet and I fuck over her

Poor kid, she works 9 hours a day, 6 days a week. The third time she asked to come over I said sure, but of course she fell asleep within an hour. Scarlet and I carried on like she was not here.

You are accurate and precise, as usual

If you exceed 180 days there's a fine for each day over the limit. They can also impose a restriction on you, making you unable to return for a period of time.
The problem when Covid was peaking is they were not granting extensions of the 90 day tourist visa. Technically, they were granting extensions but it was taking longer than 90 days to process which meant they were expired by the time they were granted. And "visa" has different meanings in different countries. Here is it just the stamp on your passport that starts the calendar countdown as JJ said, after 90 days you have to leave the country and then you can return for another 90 days, or file for an extension. Before Covid you could file for the extension of your tourist visa on line, very simple and instantaneous. I have not checked on that this trip because I am already on my second 90 days or "extension" based on the date of my stamped entry at Immigration at the airport, so this option is no longer available to me for 2021. You can come and go as many times as you want in one calendar year as long as no single stay exceeds ninety days (unless you apply for an extension, then you can stay 180 consecutive days) and the total of all visits in one calendar year cannot exceed 180 days. Not. One. Day. Over. Clear as mud?

What you don't want to ever do is overstay your visa. While I have known amigos who overstayed and were allowed to leave on their scheduled flight with a slap on wrist at the airport, I have also heard reliable stories of people having to cancel flights, spend 2-3 full days at the Immigracion Office where 99% of your time is just waiting, with daily fines that are no longer trivial, and with other penalties depending on the mood of the Immigracion officer sitting across from you at the moment, including not being allowed to return to the country. Nothing is standardized when it comes to official government process and procedures in this country. That can vary depending on which city you are in, which office you are in, and which official you are talking to. I have had officials sitting at adjoining desks tell me conflicting info with no attempt to resolve the issue. Welcome to Colombia.

All of the above discussion was for tourist visas. There are many different kinds of visas, probably over 20, I haven't counted. The visas used to have "names" like "tourista" or "pensioner" visa which are still used by convention, but the entire visa system was switched to alpha-numeric codes years ago. I hope this helps.

Gratuitous foto of Hot Housewife from this morning. I finally got to tag her alone and she did not disappoint. I know I overuse this phrase but she is as hawt as they come, an easy nine in my book and the only opinion that truly matters on that, is mine! Jajaja, Ostee Out.

    First Trip Checkin

    Alright Fellas,

Wow if there is a Heaven I'm pretty sure it's called Medellin.

A bit of background. Bought a 1-way ticket to Medellin, (bought a fake return ticket in case they asked me at the gate, and they did so I was glad to have purchased one a head of time).

Mainly did most of my sourcing through SA, now that I'm here, I'm using Tinder too, and I'm finding good success from both but, if I'm being honest, currently having more luck with Tinder and at the price point that SA is at, Tinder is certainly better IMO.

Overall I'm going for more of the novia route, as I don't have a problem with preparagos or ladies of the night, but my experience is that if you put in the time to get a novia the sex is usually more passionate, and god from my first few days here, these women put Western women to shame.

    Day 1:

Lined up a date, we'll call her G1 met at a restaurant in the Poblado area, it went well, easy enough to talk to used a translator when need be, but didn't need it much. Overall went well, came back to my Airbnb and banged. Bang was OK ended up being pretty kinky, she wanted to stay the night but I'm not a fan of that, got her an uber home. One thing she started talking a lot about money that she needs for stuff school, etc, so be prepared if you want to go down the novia route, be firm with your theory on money and giving money. Where I stand is, when we're together I'll pay for stuff, but afterwards I'm not going to do anything else.

    Day 2:

G1 came over again, we went out for breakfast, she needed to go to the bank, so we went, afterwards back to my place for wine and banging. That pretty much lasted the whole day, it's hard to get a straight story from these chicas, she starts telling me about how she's in school and shows me pictures, then says that she's taking a break and needs money for school. Don't worry gents I won't be paying for school, that you can take to the bank. We made some plans to meet up the next few days and get some lingerie for her and we'll go to a sex shop to get some things to use. Overall though she fucks better thank pretty much any western women I've had before other than 1 or 2, so I'm pretty pleased. As we got talking between wine and sex she mentions how she wants something serious and I go along with it. You'll see later on in this thread that it seems like a lot of the girls want something serious. Has anyone else found that here in Medellin? So I go along with it and say lets see where this goes and we go from there.

    Day 3:

I have a date with a new chica we'll call her G2. G1 is busy for the day and that's for the best, I think it's best not to see them everyday, drains you of energy fast and you want them to think of being with you as special not as the norm. So date with G2 is in the mall. Another chica going to school studying law. We go to a restaurant and we get talking. She too wants something serious and makes it pretty clear from the beginning. I again play along with it and say I'm open to it too. In reality I'm not 100% opposed to something long term but that will be after running through a few hundred paisas to begin with. G2 is pretty hot, more of an elegant hot than a sexy hot, kinda with an attitude of superiority, which kinda just makes you want to fuck it right out of her, so overall I'm into it. Date goes well, surprisingly though she doesn't want to come back to my apartment immediately, apparently there's a thing in Colombia where if a woman sleeps with a guy on the first date they think of themselves as being prostitutes. This is something she makes way to clear that she's not. So I hate to bring it back to the baseball analogy, but I didn't hit a homer, only made it to second, so that's that. We make plans to meet up again later in the week, where she assures, me we'll get to know each other better if you know what I mean.

    Takeaways and Summary:

Overall, I fucking love it here, as opposed to the US, most women here are in-shape, feminine, and attractive. I possibly foresee starting the path of stringing chicas along that I'm interested in something serious as having the potential of blowing up in my face. But we'll cross that bridge when it happens. In the mean time, the short term objective is to bang G2 an keep getting novias, I'm looking for a novia for each day of the week.

Let me know if you guys want to get into any more specifics of any part of this trip, logistically, work-wise, any part. Happy to answer any questions for those that have any. Happy hunting guys! And I'll be sure to update soon!

Everyone has to find their own way and what works for them. I would be happy to still be seeing any of my girls here in twenty years. Medellin is the smorgasboard, from the quickest impersonal mudhole fuck in El Centro to as deep as you want to go emotionally.

What complications? From my experience you get what you sign up for. If some chick is doing something that is not acceptable to you then you nip it in the bud. The only complication is guys letting shit go on because they are afraid to say something and lose out on the pussy. I have never had a relationship where my girlfriend cost more than a hooker or had complications like some other guys mention. I have no problem saying goodbye to a chick like that. I will take on a girlfriend; I will not take on a bill or a problem.

Haha, they don't think about gaps in the market.

They'll charge whatever they think they can get.

I chatted with a few of the cuter ones today.

Asking what they charge, a couple of them said 40 K, but 60 K to the gringos.

When I asked why, they said cause some will pay it.

Then I asked them if they knew how much I was going to pay, and they said how much?

I said, whatever I want, let's go! LOL.

And they laugh and we go, and I pay what I want, LOL.

I've of course already built up a little friendship and they know I'll pay accordingly.

    Fun times!

    Today was great!

I'm off to Lleras, where last night I saw at least 10 from the Botero scene.

A couple of the really cute ones where working at the club, Lleras Park.

They told me they can get 350 K there, 250 k walking the park.

I'm just a spectator at this point, already having my fun during the day.
