Ginger was suggested to me by a experienced WG. I believe it'll be okay for taking WGs. I didn't book though.

Usually the things I look for are space and cleanliness. I don't care about the stars. My usual place was De Grandeur in Thane. That place had the biggest rooms I have seen at Mumbai, Navi Mumbai & Thane at that price, and was quite clean too. Was total VFM. Only issue was that it was a Wedding venue, so lot of noise on wedding days. Other than that it was a nice place. Also, it's a bit far too. Always had to pay 1 K more to the WGs to come there.

Then there was Kohinoor in Kurla. Rooms are clean and has a nice view. At it's price, I would say it was quite VFM.

In Navi Mumbai, I have stayed in Spices. Some rooms have awkward pillars in between. Other than that all was good. If there are any better VFM hotels in Navi Mumbai, let me know.
