I am thinking to visit Bangkok for the first time and I try googling this, but I find many different replies, and most of them are also some old articles and posts.

Usually in Europe I am interested into 30 min or 60 min. Is this short and long time?

And I wonder what would be price for entire evening / night or hiring them for entire day.

I know it is hard to tell and every girl can have different price, but just for example.

What would be prices for a good-looking 18-24 years old girl. In comparison what I could except from same person for short, long. Something.

Do hotels and hostels allow strangers to come with you to your room or should I rather consider Airbnb?

Every girl is different but in general GoGo Bar girls are about 3000 baht for short time which usually means one shot in about a 2 HR time frame. Some girls will do 2 shots if you negotiate ahead of time. Time long is usually till the next morning or afternoon and cost about 5000 baht for 1 shot at night and another in the morning, but as I said this is general and YMMV.

I won't answer about Airbnb's as I'm not a fan but most girls around the RLD (Nana, SC, and Patpong) will allow girls, some will have joiner fees but you can google the specific hotel as there are lists out there to see.

I've been doing the online thing exclusively since early in the year. My batting average is about the same as it was in the oilies but it constantly improves. The web sites are the least important resource when it comes to the online scene. Retouched photos just like the ones from the oilie's sites. No different. And Twitter, Locanto, CL, TF are just a waste of time in my opinion. Although some of the local sideline sites are good for a bit of information and to get a feel for a particular "camp. " The telegram and Line groups are far more revealing and informative. I probably spend about an hour a day on them. Fun? It's an amazing amount of fun looking at pics, most nude and occasional action photos, the local punters take of these gals and reading their reviews. After a while you learn to read between the lines as most reviews are on the surface positive, but upon closer perusal you begin to get a feel of what they really think. You'll get an excellent feel of the gals "vibe. " I find it very fun. Who doesn't like looking at pics of naked gals that you can go bang at a moment's notice? Plus you can do you research anywhere. In the last two weeks I have had two gals that were as PSE as any Tulip, Mango, or SW gal rolled up into a package that you would expect to find in a high end Macau sauna. Honestly, I haven't enjoyed P4P in BKK like this in years. And there are so many gals to choose from. And I'm a guy who swore he would never get into the online scene, but I'm a convert. Might venture to some of the higher end oilies at some point, but don't think I'll be in the PSE shops again. Just too rough looking.

Correct. The online scene meant for Thai guys is neither appealing nor accessible to tourists. Even for residents, it only appeals to the small group who speak / read / write Thai reasonably well.

One thing I hated about the online scene was funneling. The site has 200 girls, I pick 10, then three reply within a reasonable timeframe, two of those go silent after I ask for an address. In my experience, being a Farang is already a filter, plenty of girls will refuse / not reply, or try to charge extra. Admittedly, I tried the Thai online scene pre-Covid, maybe it's a bit better now, with them being more desperate for business.

Maybe the the LINE groups that GoatScrot mentions are good, but I've been in one of those (courtesy of a FanFinFin girl) and deleted it after a week. Too much noise, can't browse/search, just an endless feed of posts, often repetitive. Presumably it's fun for some people, but not for me.

Technically, a sufficiently motivated and patient Farang could score in Thai-oriented online scene only using English, but there are obstacles at each step.

I'd agree that speaking some Thai is pretty essential, however reading is not needed as Google will do the translating for you. The agents all read and write English and I have never had any be the least bit unpleasant. And yes, there are gals that don't go with farangs, but the vast majority do, and agents will be upfront with you about it. I've had two gals who don't have agents not reply to my initial contact, but only two, and that is out of many contacts I have made. I would say the scene is way different than it was pre-covid. But yes, it is not for the tourist but non-Thais are certainly welcome if they play by the rules.

Second question is where did all the Thermae, Thaniya, Gogo Bars, Soapy Girls go to since it's all closed? Very weird that sidelines sites has seen big influx since pre-COVID and lockdowns. I am not smart enough to figure that one out. Plus Thailand doesn't have a cultural mentality to give dual pricing to foreigners. No way Josie. When in Rome do what the Romanians do.

This was the best advice on here about the online Sidelines game. I guess some bros are better then others at playing it. Explains why some have success and some don't. In Bangkok, I've seen 12 sideliners, 3 bar girls, and only 2 outside Thermae girls. And I go hunting every night. I can say now, if you have a problem paying up front, you will have issues. There is a methodology and system, that I use to select my girls along with my sense of pattern recognition and being able to remember faces from all my mongering experiences. We have online in Europe for roughly the same prices as are being talked about in this thread and there are also places where you can have Asian and even Thai girls.

Basically the USP for Thailand is the "transparent" scene, whether that be massage shops, BJ bars, gogos or beer bars.

Totally agree and can see your point. If I were a tourist that would be what I would be interested in. But for the majority of residents I know going to a loud bar and having to make small talk with a bar girl is not in the least bit appealing. In addition the Nana area really is not our favorite place to go at this point.

There are a lot of hot 1500 Baht girls online. And I mean a lot. Far more than the total of hot girls on soi 7. And you're not lowballing online, that is the stated price. No haggling and you know exactly what the girl will do and won't do.

And it is the price the local men are paying and believe me their taste is far more discerning than the average tourist or foreign resident. The Asian punters used to have quite discriminating tastes but over the past few years I have seen them with gals I wouldn't give a second glance to.

Language will always be a block to the online scene here and will pretty much block tourists from the scene. Whereas you don't have to read and write pie to book these girls, interacting with them can be quite awkward because most don't speak very much English and some not at all.
I also think that the government is looking to rid Thailand of as much of the transparent scene as possible. Have a look at Argentina. They used to have a thriving club scene and now all those clubs are closed and it's all online. I do think that's the way we're headed here. And for the government that's a win because it means a less visible sex tourist industry. We foreigners love street food but many Thais don't and have supported the clean up of the streets. And none like the in your face foreign sex scene. Sex tourists make up a very small percentage of total tourist. And the gov is using covid to crack down. There will always be available gals, but the method will change.
Soapies are a thing of the past. Go-Gos will be as well, and perhaps sooner than we think.
