Like Bravo said, there are fakes, but more often photos are just photoshopped, or simply date back to better times before the new kid (or 2) or a newly shaped belly came into the picture. A live Zap videochat can cure that ailment, and if she refuses to chat you'll know why.

It's a legit site. There is some bait and switch but it's easy to spot. If you find an ad with a girl who looks like she just walked off the pages of Vogue magazine for only 100 R an hour, its pretty obvious its fake. The only real gripe I have to the site is that some of the females don't list their rate, so when they see a foreign number pop up on the whatsapp, they inflate the price. (You won't find reviews for every girl on the brasilian forums, so you can't cross check the price for each one).

2) Rio won the rights to host the World Cup.

3) Rio won the rights to host the Olympics.

4) The dollar dropped to like 1. 6 or 1. 7 R.

5) Once Rio won the rights to host the Olympics, the price of property fucking skyrocketed! I knew many retired Americans who had to move out of Copa because the price for rent was too high!

6) The powers that be shut down Karla Models. No more ordering 3 girls at a time for a 2 hour orgy for only 100 bucks.

7) The price for Airplane tickets went thru the roof! 1800 damn dollars for a coach seat!

8) Many tourists (Especially Black Americans) stopped going to Rio and started going to Sosua or other destinations.

9) They closed the Bar section of Balcony.

10) Many of the girls could no longer afford to live 4-5 deep in a Copa apartment because there weren't enough tourists for them to make money. During that time, I knew about 25 girls who got married and moved to America. I can only imagine how many relocated to Europe.

As for the beach, there are still plenty of freelancers. The difference now is that it's not as overt as before. To overcome this, you have to make conversation with girls on the beach or the hawkers (who will point them out and make introductions). On my two previous visits to RF I stayed near Arpoador on Copa & on Ipanema and on Praia the Barra the Tijuca. On my next visit I am staying.

In between Posto 3 & Posto 4 on Copa, so I am looking forward to checking out a few more of the late night options in that vicinity. Casablanca being one and yeah I will check out Mabs again too even though I am not expecting much based on my 1st visit.
