How far in advance get you get the Thai Pass? I'm looking at a flight in August. Do I need to wait until 3 days before the flight to get the get the pass or can I get it a month or two in advance?

I'm just parroting what I heard yesterday. Big wig in Thailand are having a meeting June 17 to discuss ending Thai Pass completely. Effective July.

People are not coming in Droves like they thought is the only answer why they Panicking now.

Unfortunately unfortunate circumstances.

My Thai tourist visa 60 day good as gold.

Problem is airline wanted a Valid Thai pass to go with it.

Mine was issued in May where you get 7 day before and 7 day after to enter. So 14 days to enter. Things happen, flexibility matters was the thinking.

My dates fell within parameters.

Airline wanted a Thai pass approved June 1 or later with valid dates. 3 either way.

No Grandfathering of passes issued prior to June.

I think they are incorrect.

Got another Thai pass with June 10 as entry date.

And for good measure got one for June 11 entry date.

Nana Plaza has to wait one day. Maybe for the best as Friday should be an action day there.

I remember one time the BIBs had a checkpoint at that turnaround on Sukhumvit right before the Phra Khanong, you know where you veer off into an alley, cross under Suk and come out at Soi 48. I was like. Ut oh, but they just passed my cab right through. Somewhat later I talked to a young Thai American kid from Cali who got nailed there, cost him a pretty penny, thank god I am old and respectable looking, albiet unattractive.

I was in Billboard last night. Top floor of Nana Plaza, for those who don't know.

I was there too, I got in around 8 pm when they were doing to two for one offer. I had a nice view of the revolving stage with the girls in the jacuzzi behind me. I did not think much about the girls, there are few good looking enough that I would be interested in. After I finished those drinks I went off to Spankys which was a little better, at least the girls were topless. The line-up was better than I expected. Not top-notch but decent enough.
