My situation is simple: if a girl quotes a price I'm happy with, then we're off. If another guy accepts a different price and has a good time too, then more power to them.

I doubt it's one side is right and the other is wrong. It depends on who has the sense of urgency. If someone has paid what equates to hundreds of dollars per day in airfares and wants a pretty girl before leaving in a few days, then he's happy to pay up to get what he wants. If a girl is broke and needs the rent today then she will call up a known customer for however much will get the bills paid. She'll probably give a good session too so that he's happy to say yes again when called on in her hour of need.

I think we are of the same strategy here. From your initial post "Also I settle the amount to be paid so that there is no misunderstanding" I inferred "always settle the amount" whereas it seems we all use the "settle the amount if needed."

I should have also added that it also depends how you carry yourself. Girls are often concerned that a young tourist, new to town, will not understand that they are expecting payment so will have a convo early to manage expectations. An older guy, who has clearly played the game before, and maybe speaks some of the language, obviously already knows the situation, current prices etc so is less of a risk and the same conversation is not required.

An extension of this is referrals. If a "cousin" was a freebie / paid 3 k then she knows this and expects the same. No discussions required.

I'll answer the blatant "How much?" question, but otherwise often leave the payment as an unspoken agreement.

I've had several girls who a / insist only on true taxi fares of a couple of hundred pesos or be / refused payment at all. These girls are happy to go with a guy who is obviously playing the field but don't want to be roped into the paid hooker grouping. Including cash in the initial discussion sees them flee early.

Funnily enough, some of those that refused payment have been firmly in the top 5% performance wise and were great fun.

Money issue is not discussed with all girls. If I feel they are romance minded and clingy I try to make it a business deal. Most Philippine girls know they will get money from foreigners but many from the provinces do not know how much. For them even 500 pesos is good money.

This is my main MO for new acquaintances too. Each to their own but I haven't found the days / weeks of ground work necessary.
