If you had 6 days to visit, would you spend all 6 days in Barcelona or would you split the time between BCN and Madrid?

I'm planning to use the agencies and sightsee in between, but got a bit curious about VIVE in Madrid. Which is the better city for mongering and sightseeing in your opinion?

Barcelona is strongest in terms of most mongering and tourism aspects.

It is easier to list the few areas that Madrid has an advantage to see if any of them are of particular interest.

From a mongering standpoint, Madrid is much, much stronger in terms of Russian / Ukrainian women. I don't know if it involves them getting accepted at Madrid universities, or if it is a local provincial visa issue, or what. But the Russians / Ukrainians are primarily in Madrid, not Barcelona. Madrid has some areas of superiority though. Madrid has some of the world's best, if not the best with Prado, art museums right in the city center. Barcelona's city art scene is not at all impressive, and the trip to see the worthwhile Dali Museum requires a day trip from Barcelona. Nothing wrong with day trips, and Barcelona has some excellent ones including Girona and Montserrat. But if your day trip interests include an Old City where you can spend the whole day walking around and being fascinated, Madrid makes a science out of it. You either go to Segovia via the Chamartin train station (which is the easiest train station to use in all of Spain for English-only tourists. It is like they designed it for them in mind), and / or you go to Toledo from the Atocha train station. So if a well preserved, but still functional, Old City is of interest, then Madrid is the winner. Segovia has the best Roman stuff, if that is of interest.

Unfortunately Blue Velvet says that Aiko / Lydia is not the same lady as Harumi.
