I have had rather lackluster experiences with a few that I have been with except for one. Last month visited BKK for a week mid October, had gone to Nana plaza, picked Rainbow 4 as it seemed to be the most lively. A nurse, on checking my shot record, remarked, "How could YOU catch Covid with all of these vaccinations?" To me, the vaccinations worked exactly as designed on a breakthrough infection: I NEVER felt short of breath, I never struggled to breathe, I never had serious bouts of coughing (1 coughed once every 3-4 hours). 2 days of feeling sick. Never needed hospitalization. For ME, the vaccines worked, especially given I'm (you say old, I say mature) with some underlying health risks. YMMV.

Masks:

Departure airport, transit airport, arrival airport, and on both flights, masks mandatory (to quote: "No mask, no fly") except for meals. On arrival, "when in Rome, do as the Romans", kept using my mask. Now, on the first day of feeling sick, during my 30 minute RTB walk along crowded sidewalks, pausing to look both ways before crossing streets (yes, Mom, I remember) when I found out I had Covid, I was really glad I had a mask on. And I was glad you had a mask on. Double layers of protection. Because if I had not had a mask, then I would have been a movin' spewing biohazard, with every exhale ejecting millions of little covid virus particles looking for a new home. And if you weren't wearing a mask, then that was just a big open house invitation for said nomads stamped on your forehead.

Days 3 and 4, I did visit the hospital's parking lot tent, first to get some antivirals (molnpiravir) that reduces the body's viral load by binding with the virus's RNA such that the virus cannot direct cells to reproduce the virus (like the bar that has the beautiful door girls inviting you inside, but once inside, the dancers are old and ugly so you lose all desire to reproduce), and the next day for some antihistamines (my body was like WTF is THAT). In both cases, there were not LINES of people, but a steady stream of people being examined; for what, I don't know, but a constant stream that kept the staff hopping.

Call this for it was, big pharma / govt collusion scamdemic. Can understand the caution initially to figure out the virus and the real smart doctors figured it out early on but they were totally censored and the mainstream medical quacks took over. If one gets covid you need to get the right therapeutics immediately especially if you are in the risk group not wait till complications develop, how smart is that haha. Unvaccinated people with severe co-morbidities killed the virus in days with the right therapeutics. Of course all this completely censored.

Went to Nana a few times, wanted to give a summary of what's happening.

Nana isn't as crowded as pre-covid, but there was still plenty of people and plenty of girls. A little less girls than before, but still far more than enough, if not far too many for the smaller amount of customers.

Some early impressions: The bar in the middile of Nana plaza was happening early to late and seems to attract more people now. Its fairly decently priced and not a shit show like the bars on Soi blasting music non-stop. Was much more chill and seemed to attract more people, in a good way, and is a good spot before, during, and after visiting a gogo. Plenty of weeds shops in the area charging only a bit more than other tourist areas.

Topless vs. Bikini: All the ground floor gogos are bikini only, and none were particularly interesting. These all seemed to get less clients, as people just went up a floor. The small bottom floor ones would only have a couple customers, seriously. Only a handful of gogos even do topless right now.

The good: Angelwitch, Billboards, Butterflies all did topless. Rainbow 4 (bikini) still has the best overall, but it caters to the asian / japanese audience and a lot of the girls are going for the japanese look still. Rainbow 4 also varied a lot on how many girls were around, sometimes it would feel like there's only a dozen girls, then like 15 minutes later, there's be 40 girls in the club, then disappear again. Angelwitch remains the most fun club, because it plays rock and is chill, the shows get old quick, but good looking ladies as the other good bars. Billboards is just frustrating to be at, as its playing deafening loud dance music, and its crowded enough it can be tough to get a seat, but is second to Rainbow 4 for looks, and easily had the most dancers of any bar. Butterflies feels like its on its last legs, the girls were nothing special you couldn't get at any of the other gogos, but this is a more "strip club" like experience if you don't want the in your face gogo, or if you want lapdances.

The why bother: Spanky's, any of the other Rainbows, any ground floor gogos, Sexy Night, Mandarin, and Geishas. Feel free to pop your head in, but you're simply better off going to other spots or Cowboy.

The bad: All of the gogos in the stairs / corner areas on both sides. Some were advertising drink specials, which turned out to be misleading. Thats how I ended up in a couple, only to be mad that I ended up there. Anyways, none were even worth it, only a few girls anyways, and felt a bit ripped off and taken advantage of, don't spend your time or money. LBs at Straps seemed bored, they seemed to be getting zero customers at any point of all my times there and like 10 of them were standing outside, all the time, non stop, enough for everyone in Nana to notice, not even bothering to try to do the LB thing to grab customers. Maybe they'll change format.

Overall, I say the quality at Nana is in decline as a whole, I'll say more on Cowboy later, but the ladies there were significantly better, which is a bit of a flip. Previously I thought Nana was the winner pre-covid and cowboy was declining, not anymore. Cowboy was the winner.

I forgot to say that a better bet for a BJ is still Wood bar on soi 7/1. I had Tata there one night, a 43 years old slim MILF with short black hairs that suits her well. I've passed through that area several times during the last week at different hours precisely to see if I could get a quick relief there, and I was absolutely horrified by the girls sitting there. Most of the times Lo. Li. Tas had only three girls, one older that was probably the owner, and two short and fat ones with very unattractive bodies and faces and were not giving any vibes of wanting to have a guy's dick in their mouths. Kasalong had no more than 4 or 5 girls sitting each times. These girls were the typical dark Eessan unattractive MILFs (except maybe one younger and slim looking dark girl, which had her face glued to her phone each time I walked over there, so cannot say surely if she is also as unattractive as others). None of them were wearing uniforms either, so expect them all to be wearing their cheap clothes also. The talent was so bad that I decided to not even try to have a new look these coming weeks.

I had a look at what was available at soi 4 also, 3 nights in a raw I think. Pre covid the soi 4 girls were already being called dogs by a few guys on this board. These same guys shouldn't even put a foot in soi 4 now as the quality available there is so low that even when you expect it by reading some reports on the internet, when you go there by yourself, you still get horrified by what's waiting there.

After all the hours that I've spent across the street or sitting in one of the bars and watching what was going on in the street, I could see only two girls that might be doable (and they are not even close to what was available there pre covid). Both of them were staying in front of Hooters, they were not there the same night. Both were dark skinned and tried to put an effort in their make up and clothes. One looked a bit chubby with and ok face but the other one looked like she had a nice body and her face looked ok to me too, both wearing long and dark hairs.

The one that had a nice body even rejected a young Indian dude, don't know what was her reason as I was not close to hear them. I didn't see any of these soi 4 prostitutes being taken by any guy.

The quality went down in the NEP also but I still saw many girls leaving with customers and others coming back to work.
