    Nosy Be. Hotel Ambatoloaka

In fall I was in Ambatoloaka, among other places. I was looking for a cheap hotel and therefore I chose Hotel Ambatoloaka on the internet.

The hotel was simply but modernly furnished. When there wasn't a power outage, the room was brightly lit. That's what I want. A particular highlight was a window through which you could look into the shower area from the bed and watch the girl showering. I liked that! The party area (Taxi Be etc.) was within walking distance from the hotel. You could also walk the few hundred meters without worrying about your own safety. This is worth mentioning in Madagascar!

I found the service to be problematic: although the room was supposed to be cleaned every day, it didn't happen. Also a repeated request at the front desk was not successful. This was particularly annoying because I definitely needed fresh, dry towels. Especially for my female guests.

Breakfast (which would have cost extra anyway) I didn't try in the hotel. I preferred to walk a few meters downhill and have either dined with a view of the sea.

Taking girls to the room didn't cause any problems as long as they could prove their age based on their ID.

A negative point was the location: the hotel is not located to the beach. The little walk to the beach in swimwear was too far for me, and I didn't want to leave my clothes somewhere on the beach because I saw the danger of being robbed. So it was difficult to organize to swim (Or does anybody have an idea to organize that without any problems? Next time I will spend a little more and book a hotel right on the beach.

I think it is basically just about that you show them your wallet and what you have in it. Perhaps you get a good rate? But the sledgehammer is about to follow in various ways: LOL.

Around hot spots you will get often asked, offered. So at least in one way it works, but I doubt in two ways.

Arriving on a weekend? Change at airport enough until Monday. Or change at place across the road from domestic terminal. Other times: Socimad (where it takes a couple minutes).

    Very relativ!! LOL

Good an healthy for a few Dollars / Eros?

Food is in Mada in general compared to pussy relativ expensiv and not very healthy. Good and healthy means in Mada, it does not make you sick in the second place and first it makes you full.

For 20 K you get a Breakfast, that's often not what I call a breakfast and that's a few Dollars to me.

Colbert, LE Loufre etc. May do offer what you looking for but not for what I call a few Dollars.

In general you may find not what you here asking for in Mada? I am so sorry.

Not all hotels provides breakfast. You can have breakfast in glacier. There are many options in Ambatoloaka. You will see when you walk there.

Good and healthy breakfast: the only girl you would meet in such a place is the waitress when last time I was in Tana I was having breakfast at a hotel on place de l indépendance where they had a buffet all you can eat for something like 8 euros do not remember the name but I would recommend chez l artiste near glacier excellent restaurant and hotel but they just have a few room around a dozen and most of the time booked.
