Some of these hotels have restaurant on different floor (not in front of the reception) including the top floors. You can first check in to your room and ask the lady to come directly to the restaurant from there you can go to the room. Have done it but in different location. Most of these fine places have access control cards for lifts that you would get once you book the room. Should not be a big deal. You can check and get to such places near mathahalli. And even otherwise, showing an ID card should really not be a problem. Especially 5 star places don't care much.
