Damn, I hate to self-quote, but just slow in my old age and missed the edit window.

To those who say Chat-u-chak has no place on a punting site, I say au contraire. It makes a GREAT excuse to escape inquisitive eyes, for those that need to. "No, you don't want to go, it's HOT and CROWDED, I'll check it out first". Quick BTS or MRT ride, an hour truly shopping, a ride back to town, and you've got a couple of hours free time. And if you've bought something, alibi confirmed. Just make sure it's the weekend.

Getting ones Belief s system torn down by Sexpats must be a bit disconcerting.

    I stand with Newton York.

Yes, it might all SEEM to be fun and games when you're a tourist, but living here (or anywhere as an expat), can be a different story. Have you heard about the corruption (to paraphrase Captain Renault, "I'm shocked, shocked, to find corruption going on in here"). Careful what you say or write, or a legal case can be brought against you. Don't have an accident; the usual "it's the foreigner's fault as it wouldn't have happened if he wasn't here", and of course the police will investigate, but don't plan on going anywhere until they finish (or you settle). Go ahead and piss off a mucky-muck and see what happens. If you're a wealthy enough mucky-muck, you can even run over and kill a cop and nothing happens. Sure, if you have some wasta, some juice, some connections, it can help, but, on the other hand, it can grate when you hear from your local friends (assuming you care to have local friends) the petty shakedowns and crap they have to put up with.

Myself, wherever I am, that's home, and I make the best of it, seeing and experiencing what I can, but NEVER a one-track mind. And the first time you have a shawarma blowout, believe me, you will question your decision to leave the homeland.

Cool, I will try that tonight if I can break free from family commitments. I see the stops you mentioned on the 'Green Line'. Thanks 11 Bravo.

Hang in there bud. Things will get better. Leaving La Vegas is awesome. Cage was the perfect actor for that role too.

Look at any beer bar as you walk by them.
Having said that, given the choice I choose to stay in Pattaya cause I think the gogo girls are MUCH more friendly than the cold girls in BKK gogo bars. Monthly weekend trips to BKK are a must though.
Aha thanks. I just got back from a week's stay in Pattaya and so got a good dose of well priced action. I'll stick to non-mongering activities in BKK unless my dik decides that the much higher price is still worth it. I definitely liked the vibe in Pattaya. Cool ladies, laid back and eager to please. Hope to be back next year.

Mate, if you are that unhappy where you are you aren't going to automaticly be happy once you get here. And while I'm sure it feels nice to vent, perhaps you want to take your musings to rant and raves so as not to clog up the offer and acceptance of on the ground intelligence in this area of the forum.

Dude ya need to travel here more, read more (RTFF going back to the beginning) and think twice before hitting the post button. WODR, that's one of the stupidest things I have read ever.

P.S. 5 of the finest from you know where we're Blocked from entering Rainbow 4 last night. I must say they take it well.

Although I do agree about the work ethic of Asians, no one on this planet works harder than Asians, and also Mexicans, but in this video, I think it's made up. She can't be real. No one would choose that life, when they could easily have a better one by just walking up to any white guy there. I mean, come on.
There's some famous Thai youtube channels out there of Thai village chicks cooking or whatever in their rural locale, looking sexy while doing Thai things, and if you just do even a teeny tiny bit of research you'll find that they're already with some white guy who bought her a house in said village, and she's making these videos for extra income. Heck, with how many views some of these channels get, they're making more money than most of us already. I tell ya fellas, youtube is the future, but youtube coming out of Thailand? Now that's a guaranteed money maker.
I'm pretty this is all staged to make money on YT.

I always thought she was a lady boy and I m still not convinced she is not.
