I went to Medellin once and stayed in Poblado. Me and buddy took an uber to The Mansion. It was a ways away from where we were staying. But the Mansion we went to is not the same as the one I see people mention here as the Hotel M. The Mansion I went to was up a long windy driveway, like your going into the woods. Sat a top a hill. It was huge inside and it had a bar inside where you wait to have the girls showcased to you.

I looked at google maps at the Hotel M and that can't be it.

You can google San Peter Apartments Medellin and it will show up on multiple sites like, hotels.com, booking.com, orbitz, expedia, etc. The prices are very similar on all the sites. The apartments are all different so it all depends on what's available.

Laureles. San Peter apartments is a good place. I always stay there when I visit Medellin. They have 24 x7 security and all girls must have a valid Colombian ID. They also have an American bar downstairs where you can hang out with other gringos.

You don't need a referral to book at Mansion. Someone is egging you on. Perhaps a referral is needed for some occasional discount offers they may run but anyone can book Mansion unless the rules changed while I was sleeping recently. Jajajaja.

9:15 at night Thursday last week side of the church at the barricade entrance. Guy I was talking to told me 5 girls (not large) surrounded him and acted flirty but were trying to pick pocket him. He spun around throwing some elbows to get them away and went to his hotel.

2:00 in the afternoon today. Bar street behind the church. Mid-street a delivery truck was parked. I have my fun at my hotel and bring her back around 9:45 at night. There is a guy walking slightly to the side and slightly in front of us. I stopped and let her walk the rest of the way alone. She makes it maybe 20 steps before that guy moves in and starts chatting her up. Who knows what happened. She is a solid 8 and used to be a solid 9 before the baby. Body, face, attitude.

My turn finally. The 3rd girl mentioned above I wanted to take for a 2nd fling. I was watching her across the street but the friend she was standing next to was mad at me for not taking her for a 4th time so I could not approach. Luck has it she moves away. I made my flight arrangements and I have been RTFF and it has been useful to prepare for trip in terms of what to expect, how to be safe etc, learning Spanish (just bought Duolingo). But I have some tactical questions for which I'm unable to pickup the answers from the posts (very likely my comprehension issues).

1. Stay. I'm narrowing down to El Poblado or Laureles based many posts that say safe bet for first timers in terms of safety. But I could not narrow down to specific hotel or airbnb that ids the girls every time and 24 X7 security etc. I don't mind a small fee for each guest if that's what I need to pay for my peace of mind. Any recommendations or keywords I need to search the forum for specific hotel or airbnb recommendation?

Poblado. I recommend staying at the Mansion, aka Hotel M, if it's your first time in Medellin. They have a bar next door where girls hang out. Most if not all guests who stay there are americans. It's very safe and 24 x7 security also.

Anyone know how far the Hotel Dix is from the Mansion bar / dance floor where we would be able to meet the girls? Uber cost?

The reason for the question is, I'm trying to make reservation with Mansion for my travel dates but it appears they need a referral for that because when I asked them availability and rates they responded with the question to share the name of the friend that recommended their place. Not sure how to respond to that, obviously I do not want to mention of this forum etc. Didn't realize they need referral but understand why they have that system.

So trying to look to alternative stay arrangements and want to make sure that the place I stay is not too far Mansion bar.

I agree with you. I think guys who put up with girls showing up 30 minutes or more late are doing a disservice to themselves and to the rest of us. We all have only a limited time in life. It makes no sense to me to spend it with my thumb up my ass wondering when or if a girl is going to show up. The hell with that nonsense.

If you are not going to tolerate girls showing up more than 30 minutes late, you are going to dramatically limit the amount of online girls that you can see. This is Colombia where time is not of the essence. The professionals will show up on time generally because that is their business but the semi-pros usually don't show up on time. It is the way they approach social events and they treat appointments with gringos the same way. It also depends on the age and experience of the girl. If you are dealing with girls in their late 20's and up, it is more likely that they will show up close to online. But when you are talking about girls in the 18-22 age range, it is a completely different story. I just schedule the girls an hour early and then they usually show up on time when I really want to see them. But then it is the girls who show up on time that screw me up. Ja ja ja.
