Amex was rejected.

Travel and Malio are a definite yes. Others can confirm but I assume Classic too.

Thanks. But I don't travel with FX. I was amazed this last trip how common CC facilities have now become. I use Wise and for six weeks, I think I only used about 5 jt in cash. Everything else was on the card: Grab, meals, shopping, entertainment, everything. That was a family friendly holiday though, no mongering.

I didn't have any issues with fraudulent or extra charges.

Where are these 24 hour bordellos and discos of which you speak?

Sorry, I'm waaay too old for that shit now. 😭. The last 24 hour party zone I went to was Stadium so that gives you an idea of my vintage.

A quick google of "Jakarta 24 HR discos" gives multiple examples in Kota and Jaksel. Whether they are good, bad or indifferent you will have to ask others. Don't expect high end roof top bars. More a gazillion kids, chemically fuelled to party the weekend away.

Why do people come to ISG? What is the main reason why ISG gained popularity in all these years?

The simple answer is to get content, know more about a certain area / city / country, avoid scams, and good reports.

I was using CIMB with Wise and 3 million. Other machines were 1. 25 million max. Crazy. Wouldn't even last any serious monger til 7 pm.

You can make multiple withdrawals from the same ATM. If the 'limit' is 1.25 million you can withdraw that amount several times in row. Makes little sense but that's the way it is.

From 2 am to 2 pm, any girl that doesn't have a John is looking after her kid, asleep or hung over.

The only options for dine in are keep an over nighter LT from the night before. If you are happy to catch and kill your own, you have the 24 hour bordellos or discos open 24/7 over the weekends but don't expect any quality at all at 7 am.

Keeping an all nighter is by far the easiest.

I have a different method, thanks to having a local friend. She very much welcomes USD and Euro's. So she tops up her BCA card with a generous amount in Rupiahs. I use that card during my stay and before leaving Jakarta, using XE, we translate the amount that I have used and give her the EURO or USD banknotes.

BATS, CJS and Basque bar are in my bucket list for getting freelancers. Any other bars in the list to hunt for freelancers in CEntral, South and North Jakarta bars. Looking for LT freelancers between 1 to 1. 5 Juta. Of course can go up if situation demands. He he.
