Again, perhaps you are right about the fundamentals. But there are definetively girls arriving at Oase in street clothes between 6 and 8 pm including a couple of highlights. So absolutely a couple of nightbirds at Oase too. By 6 pm you could be missing out on a few. I'd say it peaked at 7- 8 pm with around 40- 60 girls as of last week (regular weekdays).

Some girls start after 9 pm at Oase and some start around or later at Sharks, but after 1 am, Oase casting is better.

1. No Marriott near Sharks or Oase. For Oase, there is Arcadia and Mercure in Friedrichsdorf.
For Sharks, the better hotels near the train station are Holiday Inn Express, Intercity, and Maritim. Maritim has a swimming pool.

For Sharks, the best hotel is Rose Garden. The Rose Garden hotel is about 5 minutes' walk to Darmstadt Nord and about 10 minutes' walk to Sharks. For Oase, you probably should find a hotel in Bad Homburg. You can take a taxi from Bad Homburg to Oase. Remember, the taxis are not guaranteed outside Friedrichsdorf S5 station.

Bear in mind that the VIA train's stop is at Darmstadt Nord, a railway stop near Sharks. However the Airliner stops at the main Darmstadt rail station. To get from there to Darmstadt Nord, you will need to take a taxi costing about 14-15 euros, or struggle with your luggage on a city bus. Furthermore the VIA train is not very frequent, normally every 2 hours.

Also, are you sure your stop is really called Hauptwich? Closest name I can think of is Hauptwache, but the U4 does not stop there.

Yes, I mean Hauptwache. By the way, I just get info from a local friend. The train strikes only affect the traffics today and tomorrow. There are no train strikes this Thursday and Friday.

Perhaps you are right. My observation was a very general one doing Sharks / Oase / World recently. Maybe late arrival is primarily an Oase thing? Vanessa at World arrived very late, too.

Sharks does not have shifts, so the girls start ariving at 3pm and by 6pm the whole lineup except for a few nightbirds, or those with daytime normal jobs, would already be in place. They start leaving at 10pm and by 12pm, most of the better ones are gone. For example, at 1am last Sunday, the only girl I would have wanted was Ulia. The rest were not worth a 2nd look.

Moxy Darmstadt used to be my favorite as one of the Marriott brands. Unfortunately, the Bus are stop, right outside the Moxy, is bypassed due to construction. Now you have to walk about 10 minutes to the train station to catch the bus. Nevertheless, it's good value if you got Marriott points to burn.

2. Lufthansa has been striking now and then too. Last week and this week. Last week, they coordinated the Lufthansa and Deutsche Bahn strikes to happen on roughly the same days. So you might be screwed whichever mode travel you choose.

I spent 4 days at Sharks last week. On all those days, the majority of the girls arrived between 4 pm and 6 pm, although a few still continue to stream in after 6pm.

Perhaps you are right. My observation was a very general one doing Sharks / Oase / World recently. Maybe late arrival is primarily an Oase thing? Vanessa at World arrived very late, too.

2) Do you recommend I find a day or two and take the 8 hour train ride (or fly) to Austria for well cum? Or better to check out Berlin and Artemis?

I witnessed an amusing situation at the reception last week. Sylvana was trying to get a customer to pay up. I think (I might have misheard part of it) the customer was saying that he had not enough cash, and the machine does not accept his credit card. Receptionists had to mediate. Not sure how it was finally solved.

4) I understand you can use credit card for the entry fees but cash only for the sessions. If I am planning for maybe 2-3 sessions max. I imagine taking $500 will be more than enough?

It depends how you ride. A 30 mnts session will cost you 100 E- 150. A 60 mnts session 150- 250 E. Extra for CIM (50) and anal (100). Do the math. Tip: Most guys spend more than planned. Cash is king. Extra fees for the use of credit cards.

5) Do most FKKs have robes you can wear or is it towels only.

All FKK clubs have robes.

Yes, S8/9 were affected. They are on strike again tomorrow, and their leader promises 'waves of strikes' until DB capitulates and agrees to reduction to 35-hour week, plus large increase in pay.

U4 is running, although I did not take it.

When strike is on, you will need to take a taxi to get to Frankfurt.
If you are going to Sharks, there is the direct Airliner bus to Darmstadt.

I don't know if the taxis can handle so many passengers from all of the world. I will try my best to reach Hauptwich. Once I reach Hauptwich, I can take U4 to where I want to go. I will not go to Sharks with my luggages but I can consider to take Airline bus to Damstadt then take VIA train to Frankfurt.

Best to download the DB app and check their timetables when selecting your desired trips. It will either say trip(s) or part there off are cancelled in advance or are still running. Last I checked during the recent train strike on 7 & 8 March, there were a very limited skeleton Regional and S-Bahn services running and the non-DB trains (VIA, HLB, RRX, National Express, etc), U-bahn and busses were 100% running on schedule.
