    Driver

I am curious to know how much it would cost to rent a driver for the day to take pictures? I know there was a few mentioned before but I cannot find the post. If someone would be able to contact me via pm with an estimate that would be great.

I have a good camara and I like to take photos of interesting subject matter like the barrios people etc. I can do it from a car if need be.

I am kind of running out of things to do in between sessions. I would like to stay here but I need to get something else going besides mongering. Also I do not want to move around with luggage. However I would consider doing overnight trips from a bus terminal. Would sante fe be a good overnight trip or guatape? Also what are the hotel situations in those places and can I walk around versus drive?

What I like about Medellin is if you stay in the centro its all walking. Everything is close and it makes getting from place to place more enjoyable.

    Any ideas? Many thanks.

Thanks I understand that. I have been doing so much traveling in south america that I am chickened/riced out. Sometimes I substitute my meals with cheapos but dining is one of my pleasures while traveling. I cook for myself at home.

Speaking in Tungs II: Medellin Minutes

tuesday, may 20. jumped on a bus for cartagena, using company rapido ochoa for 70k ($40). left 7:30am, arrived in cartagena at 10pm, 14.5 hours. the trip was longer than quoted due to heavy rain which slowed travel. from medellin the first five hours were mountain scenic then the landscape flattened. no crime-troubles during the drive. no police stops or inspections. lots of small landslides being cleared.

instead of trying to navigate a new city at night i checked into the bus station hotel for 25k, a basic room. the next morning bussed to the historical sector, checked into hotel villa colonial for 28k-night in the ghetto of getsemani.

for two days i walked the outer city walls, city streets, popped into the gold museum to read about the zenu indians and their brilliant canal system. castillo san felipe was a treat; i spent some three hours running up, down and around this giant fortress. no mongering in cartagena because i wanted a break.

friday, may 23. bus berlinas took me to santa marta via baranquilla. about 4.5 hours for 20k ($11). efficient and painless. in santa marta i jumped a local minibus to taganga, about five kilometers north. a small horseshoe bay populated by backpackers and punks. set up shop for fourteen days, simply to tan, read a book, eat steaks, drink mora juice, and watch sunsets. the ciudad perdida ("lost city") didn't interest me priced at $460us for 5 days, 6 nights, minimum five persons.

friday, june 6. company brasilia, ticket from santa marta to medellin, 60k ($34). the ride took 17 hours (8am-1am). i swear colombia rivals laos for most people who woof their cookies during bus travel. again no crime troubles or police stops-inspections. to make sure my luggage doesn't walk (get stolen) i usually like to put my bag under my seat, but brasilia hands out tickets for each bag so i let them put it in the baggage compartment. this is the best bus company i have travelled with to date. from the north bus terminal in medellin caught a taxi to centro and checked into a hotel.

saturday, june 7. i carnally meddled with milena, 22 yrs of bell suite, 30k-30mins. big boobies are her main sell. i dined at the y. it took her a half hour of using me as a scrub-board but she finally came. "wow," said she damp of sweat.

in the afternoon i met isger almotu and we took in the de greiff scene along carreras 52-53-54. in stripclub bar hilton i fiddled with the wares of diana, 18 years, 30k-30mins. she looked great, danced great, but this "princess" didn't measure up in the sack. two thumbs down. the room made quito's fuckrooms look classy. what a dungeon.

sunday, june 8. met isgers macmasher and almotu for a stripclub tour.

monday, june 9. a second round with milena, 22 yrs of bell suite, 30k-30mins.

friday, june 13. lady, 19 years of barcelona, a slender mulatta, caught my eye. i sampled her services for 30k-30mins. an excellent session to mutual orgasm. another chica to pin me down, her hands to my chest, using me as a scrub board. hmmm, it seems more girls in colombia have orgasms during sessions than all other countries in south america put together.

by 9:30pm i was in mayorista. stunning negrita veronica, 18 years, was first up, 25k-30mins, hotel 10k. long hair, incredible ass. just gorgeous. a bit of an actress in bed, but she did it well. two thumbs up.

third session of the day was with zoraida, 25 years, 25k-30mins, hotel 10k. as i didn't cum with zoraida upon exit i immediately grabbed christine, 18 years, 20k-30mins, hotel 10k, for a fourth and final session. to my amusement, knowing i had been tapping other girls christine sweetly says at session end "oh, poco leche por mi!"

saturday, june 14. yadith, 19 years of de greiff, 25k-30mins, 10k hotel. pretty little hardbody but she grumbled due to discomfort in a couple positions. at night in mayorista i came across super-hot spinner tatianna, 19 years, 25k-30mins, hotel 12k. what a babe! bareback bj, pure white skin, unblemished, cute, friendly. a fantastic session.

tuesday, june 17. welcome to colombia artisttyp! i had the honor to play casa guide for his initial steps in medellin. during the course of the afternoon i squirted milena-22 of bell suite, 30k-30mins, then natasha-20 of masajes 55-35, 25k-30mins. big boobied milena continues to deliver, itty-bitty-titty newbie natasha was tame.

at night i set up camp in de greiff, closing down the bars, about 2am sexing hottie andrea, 19 years, 25k-30mins, 10k hotel. another babe. after the session i discovered the tavernas along carrera 53 are open to 3 or 3:30am, had more beers. in a drunken haze, characters everywhere, these streets are so surreal.

wednesday, june 18. met artisttyp for lunch. for those of you who are not familiar with artisttyp's style of mongering be prepared for some off-the-wall mental images polluting your brain. today i am politely eating lunch while he is passionately speaking about simultaneously eating asshole, pussy and smelling feet. i quipped "this is unique dinner conversation" -- and we had a good laugh.

hiked up to casa aiffe whereby i rented tall slender mulatta camilla, 20 years, 30k-30mins. hit conejitas to watch some "chica-botero" (fatty) stripteases, then de greiff to close the eve, more character watching.

thursday, june 19. a second session with lady-19 of barcelona, 30k-30mins. two orgasms for her, one for me. i love lying on my back, letting her go at it, watching her face. she's a pretty sight in 'heat.'

at night artisttyp and i toured mayorista. he sessioned then left. i taxied to de greiff later on. about 3am i bumped into a crowd of people. a car is pulled to the curb, driver's door open. a man holds a black kid, the latter cut and bleeding. a white punk not being held (at first) is present, presumably a friend of the black kid. after ten minutes four police officers on motorcycles show up. talking proceeds.

after five minutes of this, one officer now holding the black kid, another cop takes three large strides forward and -- with helmet on -- headbunts the black kid. i'm thinking wtf?! the kid's knees buckled but with help was kept up. after a couple minutes this cop does the same to the white punk, bam! -- headbunts him too. upon sight of the first headbunt i took a few steps back. upon the second one i took a dozen more steps back. more people are crowding in. as this seemed to be escalating instead of being resolved i said it is best to divorce myself from this scene. crossed the street and walked the five blocks to my hotel for sleep.

friday, june 20. third session with lady-19 of barcelona, 30k-30mins. then camilla-21 of abedos, 30k-30mins. flexible but tame.

while shopping artisttyp and i stumbled onto a section of the de greiff scene i was not aware of. up till now i've only known the tavernas and stripclubs of carrera 52-53, plus the hotel streetgirls of carrera 54, all north of av de greiff. but there are a lot of chicas standing outside hotel doors / halls south of av de greiff along carrera 53 too.

at night cutie milena-25 of de greiff introduced herself. she seemed to dig me so i put up the venture capital for a session 25k, hotel 10k. initially it was for 30mins but the session was over 60mins long. she makes this adorable high-pitched noise, like a squeal, with each drill of the cock. by session end she had a big smile on her face, enthusiastically jumping around the room, dancing to the music, naked. two thumbs up!

saturday, june 21. while browsing the casas i took artisttyp to see new life. i let him ring the buzzer. once inside the guy would not show us the girls unless we promised to buy a session. huh?! apparently from my two previous visits, after buying a beer both times, i declined to session (f-uglies), left -- and this peeved the guy to the point that i can no longer browse new life's selection unless i pre-commit to buying. this, to me, is pretty fucking stupid. it's the only casa in medellin to do so. i guess i am going to have to step up my buying to four or five sessions daily to clear my good name.

later i sessioned with marcela-19 of de greiff, 15k-30mins, 10k hotel. pretty but tame. then marta-21 of de greiff, 20k-30mins, 10k hotel. she snorts coke like i breathe air.

it's so odd these days. i can still remember the first 150 chicas of my south american travels, but today i can barely remember a girl's face from last night (chica numbers 222 & 223).

sunday, june 22. round two with cutie milena-25 of de greiff, 25k-60mins, 10k hotel. even better than round one. can't help but feel appreciated when you pay for 30mins and get 60mins.

adding up chica and session totals it was on june 19 that medellin surpassed rio de janeiro & belo horizonte to gain second place in south america (after quito). brazil: 17 girls, 30 sessions in thirteen weeks. colombia is presently at 28 chicas, 37 sessions in seven weeks. as price is the primary determiner of my buying habits medellin has some damn fine quality chicas at bargain pricing (sub $20).

the numbers speak for themselves: i'm a medellin man.

My lunches run 5,000 to 10,000 pesos all over the city. Need to stay out of malls.

$10 for a sit down lunch is not that expensive.

This casa was located around el estadio but it got shut down by the Policia according to El Castillo just days after we paid them a visit. They had a few beauties working there too. What a shame! I am sure the girls found new places to work but who went to where, I don't know.

For me Colombia looks about 100 times less dangerous than Russia:)

But I know Russia much better, I lived there for 20 years. and Russia still great, and at the same time nothing can be worse;)

    Weather/pricing/shopping

I forgot to mention that the weather is pretty damn hot in the day and cools down just a little at night. Maybe between 4 and 5am it is a little cool. It hasnīt been all that comfortable to walk around looking for casas. Especially when your pants are sticking to your legs. You wind up getting really grungy by the time the day is over.

Trying to judge what to bring via the weather channel.com was difficult. I could have sworn I would have needed a jacket but so far I haveīt really needed anything except a long sleeve shirt over a t shirt. Buy an umbrella for sure.

This is a mid range city as far as prices go. I have been paying an average of $12/13 for a decent luch and dinner. Even in the food courts at shopping malls you wonīt find it for much less unless you are just snacking. That goes with everything else you will be doing. Beers and girls being the exception unless you dont give a crap and eat anything.

Shopping is not too exciting here. I am a big shopper and from what Iīve seen I could do alot better in america or new york city for that matter. The streets are filled with loads and loads of cheap(ugly) clothing at rather high prices. I donīt know who buys this crap. The thing that has caught my attention are the numerous stands and shops that sell leather wallets and credit card holders for roughly $12 a piece. I will buy my x mas gifts here so I dont need to stress out next year.

I have an invitation to wife up with a casa girl so I will take her out on a date next week. She wants to show me her barrio which could be intresting. I had a second session with her but it wasnīt like the first so I dont know if I can perform for her. At least I will get to see some interesting areas of town.

I am in a really tough spot with sex. I cant get off with the same person more than once. How can I ever expect to have a realationship? What to do with my life?

    Are you volunteering?

Are you volunteering? I know a guy in Niquia who would do it for 1.000.000 CP. He has been to jail for it in the past…

    Food not cheap?

A restaurant near Odeaon serves Soup and main coarse for 5000 CP take out and a whooping 3500 CP if you sit and eat there.

Food is inexpensive if you keep away from Kokorikos and the likes. Stick to the little local hang outs. The only draw back for me is they cook using a hell of a lot of salt for my tastes.

There are also a few discos in the immediate area but I have yet to see a bustling nightlife. There is a huge supermarket called "Ley" a block away where you can stock your fridge.

On my first day I walked right down to the centro via avenida san juan which took me around 35 minutes. I don't recommend it but I wanted to give an idea of how far you are to the centro. That is where you want to hang out as far as I am concerned. Another option would be to take the bus right down san juan in the direction you would have been walking. It takes just a few minutes and 1, 200 pesos (a few cents). Option two would be taking the metro at the estadio stop then change at san antonio for another train. I personally found the bus easier and a bit quicker but it doesn't drop you off in the dead center. You would need to walk a few blocks.

I stayed at lukas hotel for my first night out of a possible 30 but I left the next day a few doors down to hotel florida. Lukas is a dump but the florida was pretty decent minus the bible thumping assholes who sing "amazing grace" every morning a 9AM. How fkn rude! I will post their email on another post.

Both hotels were in the $65/75 range. The other hotels in the area are just about equal in price. In general I find Medellin to be pricey for lodging unless you stay in a hostel. However during my walks around the centro I found a really good hotel with all the ammenities for 60, 000 pesos ($35) a night. I just moved in here today so before I post any recommendations I will see how it goes. I am on the 10th floor with a great view and thick windows.

    * I had the pleasure of meeting malodr and el plomero. I hope to see you guys again. Thank you for your help as well as everyone else.

I was also very lucky to meet up with my buddy tunguhuara whom I met previously in buenos aires. He has been showing me the ropes so alot of my research so far has been with him. I will do my own searching after he leaves for Bogota. I have been very spoiled by him. I consider him a master of the art. He is one of the few people I would trust to hit hardcore barrios with.

Usually I feel safer by myself.

I've had some decent sessions in the centro casas. The girls have been better looking than most casas in similar countries (the faces especially). I immediately noticed a similarity to the chongo set up of quito ecuador and privados of buenos aires. They seem to be numerous and safe to visit. The managers are usually male and are very polite. You walk in and you are presented with the girls for your choosing. Drinks are available. Bring a pen because it is hard to remember names. Most casas are very clean with showers soap and towels. Most of them change the sheets after each session.

I have gotten BBBJ for an extra 10000 pesos which brings the session to around $25 for 30 minutes maybe a little cheaper in some casas. Minus the special service you will be looking at around $17 US. Not everybody does the specials so ask before you go into the room. Spanish is a must in Medellin. There is no way around it minus staying at the mansion or something similar.

The street scenes are a real trip. I've been to the ave. De grieff scene and mayorista. Mayorista seemed ok and my session was decent. Prices are similar to the centro casas. De grieff is like hanging out in a shady area of tijuana mexico. I love a good freak show.

All in all I am satisfied. Food is not cheap and there is bit of anglo snobbery from the white locals. It reminds me a little of Argentina but not as obnoxious. I find darker skinned latin countries to be more friendly but that isn't to say that people are not friendly. They are but there is some anglo culture that we see in the north that I could do without.

"I am loving the centro" is basically the bottom line. I have yet to go elsewhere but I will.
