Thanks for all the comments about the payment upfront issue. To be clear, the chicas from the Centro strip clubs want you to pay the full amount (multa + chica fee) in the club. The reason is that Colombians sometimes don't pay the girls. They won't make exceptions for foreigners, unless they know & trust them.

The 1st time I spotted Evelin from Las Americas, she was sitting alone at a table. I grabbed her hand on the way back from the bathroom. She sat on my lap and was giving me sweet besos straight away. When I told her I wanted a chica for TLN, she suggested I meet her outside at closing time to avoid the multa. She never asked me for a drink. Her attitude was great! But she had to go home at 6 AM to take care of her kid, and I was looking for a girl to sleep with me.

Yesterday, Evelin was able to stay longer because her kid stays in boarding school on weekdays. She wasn't greedy and only asked for 100k TLN. It was only 10 PM, so I figured it was worth paying the 50k multa for 4 extra hours of her company.

Evelin also wanted me to pay in advance in the club. I explained that foreigners wouldn't pay in advance, but assured her she would get paid. And I said I'd give her a propina if she took good care of me. That clinched the deal.

I didn't negotiate services with Evelin. I just knew she'd be great. And she was! She earned her propina.

One night I did go into Park Llaras to check it out since lots of people on here talked about it. Talk about a total RIP-OFF. I ate at a steak place the bill was over 40, 000! I could have got me a nice sweetie in Mayista for the price of that steak. I noticed the girls were pretty stuck up as well. I said Hi to the girl at the next table and she did not even smile at me. I am a gringo after all and the girls in Mayorista were more than happy to be with a foreigner. I cannot understand the big attitude change in Llaras.

What, you were led to believe that the whole city of Medellin is an open air wh*rehouse that exists to please gringo tourists?

You can't understand why after leaving a strip full of prostitutes, you begin talking to regular upper class chicks as a complete stranger and get a different attitude?

You know, a foreign guy who spends his entire vacation wh*remongering in La Mayorista is not exactly a prize catch for most chicks you'll find in Lleras.

Mayorista is not the safest area in Medellín, either. Most Paisas that I know will not go there because it is too dangerous. Not everything is as it may appear in Medellín or in Colombia.

Please be very careful in the Mayorista area.

Sorry I did not say goodby to you, you were a real sport letting us make a mess of your Apt.

As far as paying in advance it is almost an invitation for them to cut corners. Myself I let them see the money in a place were it would be hard for them to get it till the session was over. Like on my side of the bed. They have never taken it until I let them and it seems to work for me. For some reason this asking for payment in advance seems to happen more in MDE than in other parts of So. America.

Panama Mike started getting close to another one of the "cuties" at the table, a tiny light hair and light complexion sweetheart! She must weigh no more than 95 lbs, but has a nice full and curvy body, thin, but not skinny! Soon he took her away for 1/2 hr. Of pleasure! Panama Mike was not happy with her, since he said there were too many inerruptions with her friend and she also cut his time short! I met a girl my last time in Colombia, and we hit it off. I am wondering if anyone has taken a girl from Colombia to Mexico. Specifically Cancun. Does anyone know what documents are required to enter Mexico. I am thinking a passport and one of the Mexican Tourist Visa that they pass out on the plane. However I am looking for real world experience.

Also how long does it take for a Colombian to get a passport?
