Some where in between. More customers in Centro, including those that would not have been there before. So they will bid up the attractive girls and still feel it is reasonable. Look for 150 mil prices in Centro, coming soon.

If they were to all go flood Centro then that would mean there would be more supply in El Centro as the girls from El Poblado return to work the Botero area. More Supply would mean lower prices. And if they are out there asking the same 250 mil or more then they wouldn't get any customers because the girls to the left and right of them will still be taking 40 mil or 50 mil. Also there are not as many foreigner mongers in Botero I'd say 95% of the clients are locals and only 5% are foreign and the locals aren't going to be paying 250 mil.

This should result in lower prices and more girls in El Centro.

The only way the Poblado girls will be able to continue to charge their bullshit prices will be if they go to seeking or other online venues or maybe in some of the clubs or Casas and that is if they can even get in. They may just end up going to some other city.

Well. One thing for sure is that these Poblado girls will not be able to charge 250 mil or more in Botero. They will have to go to Facebook or work in casas or clubs or something if they want to continue to charge their exorbitant prices. I think the ones that do end up going (back) to the Botero / Veracruz area will have to charge 50 mil at most or else they won't get any customers.

That area makes tons of money off the foreigners but are now being punished because of the foreigners. It was not just the one American that caused this. IN other news the underage problems have continued to rise with the rise in tourists. Some locals may not be very happy with the foreigners at the moment so keep your head down! They may be made at you for loss of business and / or think you are a pedo. Be careful out there.

I wonder if this will apply mostly to the streetwalkers around the park? But also wheat about the bars / clubs near by, as well as any outcalls?

When does this take effect? From what I read, my understanding is prostitution can still occur in parque lleras, but not after 1 am.

    Correct?

Medellin's Mayor's Office prohibits supply and demand of sexual services in El Poblado and premises will have to close at 1:00 am.

The two measures, which include the prohibition of the practice of prostitution for the next six months, aim to counteract the sexual exploitation of girls, boys and adolescents after finding a foreigner with two girls in a hotel in that area of Medellin.

As promised during a press conference held last Sunday, March 31, the mayor of Medellin Federico Gutirrez announced this Monday drastic measures to counteract the sexual exploitation of girls, boys and adolescents in the city.

This Monday, the local president announced that his office decided to prohibit "the demand or request for sexual services or related activities" in commune 14, El Poblado, for six months.

Specifically, Gutirrez ordered the temporary suspension of the demand or request for sexual services and related activities as well as their promotion and advertising in any format in the public space of the area.

The measure taken by the Mayor's Office of Medellin covers a polygon that extends to the surroundings of El Poblado Park, Provenza, Lleras Park, La Presidenta linear park and surrounding residential areas.

That's great news! Sick and tired of the shit show around Lleras. The park used to be a great place to hang out, look at it now, so disgusting. Centro hoes should stay in Centro where they belong.

Fico signs decreto to prohibit prostitution in parque lleras

    https://www.noticiascaracol.com/anti...rededores-rg10

For those of you who can't read Spanish, this article says that Mayor Fico Gutiérrez just signed some new decretos prohibiting prostitution in and around Parque Lleras, parque el poblado, Provenza and the surrounding areas starting now and for a period of 6 months.

It also says that bars and establishments that serve alcohol will be ordered to close at 1 am instead of the current 2 am or 4 am time that they currently close.

As soon as there is a new episode from DC Rob covering this story I will post a link so you guys can follow along in English.
