Yes I agree. Admiral Premier is a very popular Hotel these days, and I like it much more than Citadines 23. First recommended to the ISG by my close buddy "Mick Licker" a few years back. Several Japanese guys live at AP permanently, due to good standard. The room is bigger, staff nicer and more helpful, and I like having a kitchenette with full sized fridge and good freezer. Beds not as hard as Citadines. The staff seem to be quite okay with turning up at night with multiple girls on the arm. The walk of no shame.

The AP weakness is the bathroom is pokey and shower (over bath) water will spill out onto the bathroom floor. I move the bathmat to just outside the bathroom when showering. If bathroom was better designed, this would really be a top Hotel. Breakfast is adequate, nothing special, but I think slightly better than Citadines B / F.

AP is popular so not always having cheap prices available these days. Can be full due to Group Tours using it. If you want to pay a bit more and get really excellent, I like Grand Mercure on Soi 19 (sometimes they have special price). Silq on Soi 19 is also good.

Right now I live at On Nut in a non serviced apartment. Unfortunately drawback of this is roadwork on Sukhumvit late at night currently causing traffic jams, if I miss the last BTS run. Might be better to move to Thonglor area (and be close to all those MPs).

I think I have been there, very close.

Is it the one that if you stand in front of the desk you will find: elevator on the right, entrance on the left and bar behind you (across the lobby)? And a tuktuk can drop you around.

)? It looks nice, gets good reviews, it is only a few minutes walk from Soi Cowboy and the price is right (less than 2000 baht / night including breakfast for 2). I already emailed the hotel to inquire about their joiner policy. Any information from forum-members in that respect would be welcome of course.

Was looking for a decent place in that area. I used to visit Citadines (serviced apartments at soi 23) which I liked a lot (gfriendly as well). Citypoint seems also a good option (although they have no fridge in the room) but I am not yet convinced it can beat the Citadines. Anyone experienced both?

Will be there at the beginning of May, any wing-man around? .

I was wondering if anyone had stayed at the Certre Point, Terminal 21 and your thoughts.

I've stayed there in 2012. Special offers on the Grand Suite back then. Huge pool area but breakfast was only so so. I personally didn't like the style and the stuff there too much but mostly the hotel got exciting reviews. On my list of close to the action hotels I'd prefer the Sofitel Sukhumvit and the Grand Millenium but YMMV.

I always tip the maid, even when I'm staying in a Motel 6 in Podunkton, Kansas. By the second day I have a maid cleaning my room five minutes after I call housekeeping, and when the maid sees me in the room or the hall I'm usual asked if there are more towels or anything else I need. In Bangkok I leave THB100 on the bed every day. Three dollars a day is next to nothing for me; but it is not insignificant for the maid. The quality of the service makes it money well-spent.

After some comments here in the forums and a bit of research on tripadvisor etc. I decided to stay at the Majestic Grande hotel in Sukhumvit Soi 2. The locations is great as it is not directly on Sukhumvit Road (noise!). The prices seem reasonable. I paid around 80 Eur per night including a good breakfast buffet. As mentioned I think the location is great, Annie's Massage is right across the street, Soi 4 with Nana Plaza is about a 5 minute walk.

The room is quite large, nice modern bathroom with separate bathtub and walk in shower, flat screen tv, in-room safe, mini bar, etc. Girl friendly (as expected) , I took two girls back to my room with no issues. IDs will be collected by the front desk.

Thanks for this report, and thanks to the others, especially those comparing both the M Suites and the M Grande. I have stayed at the Suites and while I found it perfectly suitable if a bit small, I have booked the M Grande for my upcoming trip this summer. Primary reason is I am looking for a tad more room and comfort while lounging with local ladies in my room. Looking forward to it!

Yep, I always book the room double occupancy, for which there is no additional charge. I have taken two girls to my room many times. I've even had calls from the front desk asking me if it was okay to send up my two guests. I've never paid a joiner fee.

Likewise, I've never understood the "walk of shame." The hotel staff certainly know what's going on. They've seen it all. My guest(s) and I have badly spoiled bed linen only to have the maid, upon seeing me in the hall, smile and say, "bed good now." Hell, a couple of years ago I fucked the maid in my room, after which she changed the sheets and made up the bed. Why be ashamed of what you're doing. The hotel is happy to have you as a guest. The ladies are happy to have you as a customer. If you're staying around lower Suk the other guests know the neighborhood. If one of them has a problem with what you're doing, well that guest has a problem. Which needn't be your problem.

Its a business not a religious order. Behave as such. Stop at the front desk, inform them you will be having an additional guest & hand your credit card to them. Its not rocket science.

Its not a religion, but I don't see its any of the Hotel's business, whether I take one girl or two to the room. I don't inform them if the girl (s) will be there for 10 mins. 2 hours or several hours. I pay for a double room, I get double bed, towels for 2 and breakfast for 2 (sometimes).

In cowboy I don't use Penny Black ST Hotel when I have two girls, as they want to jack up the price of the room significantly. A small hike for the extra towel makes sense, maybe 50 baht, that's all.

Anyway, Admiral Premier did not object when I showed with 3 girls, and they were not wondering what time the girls would leave. Obviously sleeping 4 in the bed would be difficult. There was no need to present my credit card.

I am planning a four day trip next month, play a little golf and enjoy some of Bangkok's delicacies. I was wondering if anyone had stayed at the Certre Point, Terminal 21 and your thoughts.

I liked the Westin, great location and can get a good price, but when you add the daily internet charge it's not such a good deal.

Anybody compare Majestic grande to Majestic suites, as far as location to Nana and Cowboy, girl friendly and so on all help would be great.

I have stay in both the Majestic Grande is a large expensive 4 star hotel with very large room and bed, the Majestic Suite is a tiny motel with small room many monger get confuse about the two both are near Nana Plaza both are very GF.

It looks to be decently priced and well placed.

The funny part is that on Agoda, they have specifically written that no children are allowed in there. All guests must be over 18.

This hotel chain have a few hotel pop up the last few yr in Bangkok and all over Asia just like the Tune hotel this is a cookie cutter place a very basic and very small room, I did check out their room a few month ago near Asok decide not to stay there, if you just want a cheap and basic room worth a look.

If not expecting an extra breakfast nor an extra bed, I have found some Hotels have turned a blind eye to 3 persons being in the room all night. Could be a charge for extra towels LOL. I normally make do with exiting towels. Big towels for the girls and a little one for me.
