This is a ayurveda Van spa in central Delhi.

Booked an appointment over the phone and went in. Its on the first floor (near a famous cinema).

Went up and a Big south Indian woman greeted me and asked me to take a oil massage!

Luckily I wasn't in the mood and went in for a dry one!

Ms. A came in to service. And I realize that the door has no locks!

My hopes take a nose dive as I know not much would be available in here!

She started the massage and then starts tickling my back and my bums!

I call up this Ispa in the heart of the city to know if any slot is available and they say yes! I bump in, in about 15 minutes and was guided to the room by a N. E receptionist (the regular one was on an off).

I was told Ms. M will be taking care of me. Whereas when I went to the room, changed to my birthday suit with towel wrap, in comes a Punjabi Ms. K (surname).

Looked disproportionate to me and still I didn't ask for a change thinking to myself if the service would be good!

Though all this while I was thinking what happened to Ms M! She herself told me that because I gave only 1. 5 at the counter (they normally charge 2.5 k) hence the and. E. Receptionist was making a lot of hue and cry about it and she then wanted me to serve you I said I paid what I always pay! And that's a reasonable amt. 2.5 isn't justified!

Anyways, coming to the service, she asked me to lay down and as I did, she took away the towel and realized my glory! Straight away asked me if I was there for extras! Hell yea!

But the price quoted was 5 for B2B, and I refused!

For the next 15 minutes she kept cribbing and in a way begging also to take it from her but I did not budge from my offer of 2 k.

She gave in! Stripped and oiled herself and come on top!

And then comes the bummer!

She then asks me to come on top saying that's the way she likes it (excuse me, wasn't it supposed to be my liking?).

Anyways with me on top, she just gave in and behaved like a dead fish!

It was more of me giving her a B2B! Finished off quickly and gave her a PC of mind while paying her!

Bad experience!

Don't even feel like rating her, given the horrible service!

Spa though is nice and clean with good spacious rooms and bathrooms!

Thought to myself that I will return here but only for a different therapist (Ms. M I recalled).

I totally agree with Anti, the kind of overheads these people have they can't be making profits. The quality of food is deteriorated, they have stopped paying salary to their employees who are totally dependent on the tips. Even on the tips these girls have to shell out 20% if the tip is less than 10 K and 40% if the tip is more than 10 K. Probably these are the reasons girls demand ridiculous amounts as tip, although it is still not justified. Few of the girls have already quit.

I have 7-8 sessions still left over, I have decided to pick up good ones, go only for the massage with no extras and no tips. Let them have KLPD for a change.

And

This place has really gone to the dogs. Looking at their declining hygeine levels and poor quality of food I am sure they are not making money either. Its a matter of high overheads contributing to a total loss situation for all. Really no one in his right mind should visit this place. I have also tried this strategy of going for the new girls at most spas and it usually works well. But uber spa is well uber spa. God help them.
