I regard Argentinian women as the most beautiful in this hemisphere. Others may not but I am also absolutely mesmerized by Chinese women and also Italian and Ukrainian women. I consider these four to be the most beautiful on the planet.

My top would be Ethiopian, Colombian, Iranian, Japanese / Chinese / Korean (I honestly can't tell them apart by looking)/ Armenian.

I spent a couple of weeks in Medellin and I wasn't impressed with the quality of the girls at the casas, yet I saw gorgeous girls in the city, on the metro, out and about.

Is Facebook a better option to find beautiful girls? I did see a few beauties in Fase dos and La isla. I'm a face person, so no mater how perfect their body is, if the face is not gorgeous, it's a no go for me.

However if I am doing a mongering trip something close and cheap is what's needed.

An well-educated Paisa might appreciate you using proper espanol, but the prepagos, taxistas, et al don't give a shit. For the most part, they don't use anything close to correct Spanish.

Portenas are generally both boring and in comparison, I did not want to say it, but they are really UGLY. Arrogant and ugly, go to the northwest in Argentina and you are in Latin America. Buenos Aires. I lived there for a year, my first one in LA, so I didn't understand better.

A prominent, and more important, open, journalist wrote about it. He was more diplomatic, saying that portenas are conservatives, so they don't have boyfriends, they dedicate themself do studies, gym, the family, friends; and "noches manuales".

An american I met at UPB in Medellin said the same thing, rumors says one thing, they are completely false. Hookering are strictly for underclass ugly girls, older, or from the poor provinces. At Energy on Cra 74, two of the hottest girls lived just some blocks away and one was practically living 100 yards from me on Circular 2. Students. The cultural difference is enormous, as it in beauty!

I have heard this description of Argentinian culture / attitude from many people. I dated one in Miami and she leaned on the "conservative" side as well.

Sure I have heard some people say otherwise but they are in the minority.

Of the countries in the Americas I have been to, I found girls from the DR and Colombia to be the most happy go lucky.

The currency has fallen 1/3.

Brazil also have hard times. Their system of defending an artificial currency might have come to an end! Just Like Argentina had its 1:1, when it fell everything was for free during 2-3 yers. Especially I think 2003 was a fantastic year. Venezuela, if you now how to do it, has a parallel currency that in one year has fallen from 10% to 1% of the official rate. These economies are built on, just like China, exportation of products with low added value in combination with a strong fiscal and monetary policy. But when demands falls, even fails, diminish, devaluation, depriation is the only way out. Argentina quickly got back to a sort of crisis, but fake exhange made it difficult for our kind.

I hope for a Brazilian normalization , which would mean that Happy Days comes back - OverNight! And that maduros loco projects is over-run my democrats and that a new floating currency and calm down the whole society and we can be customers at ease. The whole continent would be ReConquista, but not in 700 years, but in 7 days!

Pretty amazing shit. While those of us using USD are getting a great bang (pun intended) for our buck I wonder how low can it go before it ends up being a problem (think Caracas) to visit. There is always a breaking point.

How long before day to day life becomes really uncomfortable for the people there. Somehow I don't think Colombia would bounce back as fast as Argentina if they hit bottom (no pun intended this time).

Try Exito, in Poblado, on Sunday morning after church, starting about 11 AM. There are women there of all shapes, sizes, and ages doing their shopping. They outnumber the men about 10-1. If you are by yourself just look like you cannot find something, and some women will be willing to help. Conversely, when in a group of guys everyone just looks, and will not approach.

Also Carulla For even higher class girls. I can't reccomend a membership to bodytech enough. Its very expensive even for US standards ($100) but you can go to each one around Medellin and meet soooooo many people. I ususally go SUPER early and meet the professionals (like lawyers docotrs) then around 10 comes to "instagram fitness models" They are really great but only really fuck with you if you have like 5 K followers or more. In the evening it's a mad house and just not worth it. But hang around in the juice bar and you good!! Also, if you strike out, the Rio Sur location has a nice jack shack / rub and tug in it. Those girls KNOW how to work out your muscles for REAL!

The thing I can't stress enough is to MAKE FRIENDS WITH LOCALS!! I have like at least half a dozen of REAL FRIENDS. People we have dinner with, we can crash at each others places, can leave money out and they won't take it! (the TRUE TEST) Just don't be a fucking "gringo" and be social, these people are awesome and you should respect thier country for ALL the fine ladies that have been born here. WOWW I FUCKING LOVE PAISA WOMEN!!

It appears to me to be more of a financial resources issue. By all means guys stay in and enjoy El Centro. I like the total hobbying pleasurable experience. For me it means enjoying the facilities at the Four Points by Sheraton in Poblado with easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, malls, etc. In a relaxed and secure environment. Call a cab and within minutes I'm in an El Centro casa rubbing shoulders with the Centro resident guys. A win / win situation for me.

Hit the mall, go to upscale malls riosur / Oviedo, go to soccer games, hit the gym especially the one in Charlee and or Bodytech in Rio Sur, hang around the metro stop in Poblado. But don't forget lower places some of these dimes who don't have a baller stays in lower tier neighborhood example Bello and Rio Negro.

Downtown is not for the faint of heart nor scared of their own shadow type. I don't go to Medellin for the food or to shop. And none of the non-P4P girls that I go out with have a problem with staying downtown. (LOL. After all, aren't 99.99% of the people staying in downtown hotels locals?) As a matter of fact, one of them called to book it for me for my next stay at the end of the week. I am not out to try to impress a chica. They need to be trying to impress me.

Downtown has the casas and a few lower end strip clubs, and that's pretty much it. Those can be a lot of fun. Medellin has world class restaurants and shopping, none of which are downtown. Some of the non-trash members might want to bring a girl over that doesn't have glue on her breath. Maybe a place that doesn't allow girls in that forgot their cedulas. Then there's the guys who might want to walk out of their hotel and take a walk around without worrying about being stabbed.

Maybe they just don't want to be stuck in the sewer after they've had their fun.

DR is similar Espanol as Cuba. I was in Havana last November and a middle-aged Colombian couple was staying in the same casa as me. They told me they were having a hell of a time understanding the Cubanos. Probably the same dynamic as me (from the Midwest US) in Scotland a few years ago having difficulty understanding the locals.

Have no problem communicating with Colombians nor Dominicans 10 years I went there. Be careful with persons that have economic interest in scaring you to stay in overpriced stuck up foreigner ghettos like Poblado!
