Just finished with the pre-registration with Migration and now it's just a few hours until I head to the airport. Wasted a day here in Miami, because I originally needed the PCR test when I bought my tickets. Staying at the Holiday Inn Express, which is walking distance to the airport. The extra day gave me a chance to do plenty of walking and to get into vacation mode. It also gave Tropical storm Eta time to move out, so I shouldn't have any delays.

My (alleged) non-pros are excited to pick me up at the airport. By this time tomorrow I should know whether one or more of them is going to be warming my bed. If not, I'm sure I'll find something to do.

If you use a local SIM for more than 30 days without registering it, they will try to block your phone IMEI on the assumption that it's stolen.

I have a sim from almost 2 years ago. I was always able to recharge on my return. Never got a message to register. But I was never in the country for more than 10 days, so not sure if it had something to do with it.

Ok that's interesting, however I'm not getting where the MiFi fits into this.

Here's my plan. I'll travel with my main phone and cheap back up costing around 70 euro.

When mongering in the streets, collecting numbers, using love motels my back up phone comes with me and my main phone stays at my accommodation.

For my back up phone I'll have a local sim and plan and register the phone if need be. I'll also have what's app on it and use maps etc.

Whilst at the Airbnb I'll use my main phone on WiFi to keep in touch with friends family or do my emailing or whatever. If I go on a tour I'll also take it with me to take pictures.

If I need Internet on my main phone outside of the Airbnb I'll use the hot-spot on the back up phone.

Am I missing something regarding MiFi as I like to keep things simple?

I had no idea this was a thing. I guess I will just use my regular phone then. I don't a phone plan in a country I might only visit a few weeks a year. Thanks to everyone that helped me out with this, I thought it was going to be super simple like in Mexico.

I bought a sim from a corner store about 2 years ago. Didn't have to show any ID. I think it cost 5 mil for the SIM. I bought a data and voice plan for another 20 mil. I used it on a cheap phone from the US. It lasted for the 10 I was there. Every time I went back I would add another 20 mil on the number from the Gana store, and that lasts for the trip. Not sure what the complication with it is.

I got this message from the operator when I was there and I just ignore it. But I have been there 15 days, then I left. Can I go back with the same phone, and use it again for another two weeks? Maybe with a different SIM, since I doubt I'll be back this year?

Exactly what I did, came back with the same phone and the phone was blocked in Colombia. Blocked with all carriers. So no Sim card would work. I had to go back to the original company and buy a plan and get the block removed, then I could get the other Sim I had already bought activated and usable. So if it happens (and it may or may not) the block is for the phone no matter what SIM you put in. Easier just to always register it. All they really want is your ID.

If that is a problem just bring a different phone every time you come.

Depends on how you look at it. When the exchange rate for USD was 1600 pesos I would not go anywhere near Fase 2 and La Piscina. If we were talking about you getting a chick from Gustos for 300K in those days it would have come out to almost $200 and 200K $125. If those days come back then woe will be some guys on this board.

Toda la noche is definitely not implied. I'll go further and say that if you just met the girl, even if you explicitly agree on TLN, it's very likely she'll just leave after an hour or two. She'll invent some excuse like her baby's sick and there's nothing you can do to stop her.

Going further, it's always smart to do short test drive w a girl before making a deal for TLN. Unless you already know her (and sometimes even if you do) you have no idea how she's going to be. She could have a stinky pussy, snore loudly, be a lousy fuck, or even drug you.

This forum is full of information but you have to read the forum (RTFF) , the forum is based on the concept that people who visit the place posts reports based on their experiences and others can learn from their posts. The members of this board visit Colombia to pay for sex with women and that is what is discussed. My advice is to "Read The Fucking Forum" RTFF. There are no shortcuts. You show no record of contributing to any threads on the forum and are not a paid member. So again you need to play catch up. Repeating my self again, this thread is geared toward men who are visiting Colombia to pay women for sex, of course there is collaborative information about visiting like travel, apartments, parting environments etc.

Because there has been a huge interruption in persons visiting Colombia since March of this year, I strongly advise that you start reading about 6 months prior to that or even a year prior to that and read up to March of 2020. Then you will have tons of information and if you have very specific questions you may be able to get a response from there.
