I have been on welfare before. And I think that welfare is actually a good thing. The problem is that it is applied improperly. These days it is called TANF: TEMPORARY Assistance for Needy Families. Somehow the "Temporary" seems to get overlooked and people with no ambition stay on it permanently and the government allows them to. Some would say it is actually designed for people to be on it permanently. Those little crumbs were not enough to satisfy my appetite, but it was there in my time of need.

I agree welfare is a positive for temporary relief but you are right about people just staying in it for life. Now we have the illegals that have children starting on welfare immediately when they are released. Welfare in USA is more than they were making in there country so they will be a burden forever.

I am not affiliated with any political party. I vote for the candidate that will represent my interest of the day the best. That being said, being a Black man, liberal outlets keep telling me I am going to get killed by the police and all this stuff about there being systemic racism. I don't remember Fox stimulating any of this fear.

I tend to live by my experience and I have experienced this very big world to the tune of over 100 countries. Maybe shit like this is effective on someone that never lives outside of their 3 block neighborhood, but I know better. From nursery school to the Navy I have been around people of all races and my Black parents never talked to me about race. People were just people. Only in undergraduate was I around only Black people because I went to a historically Black college. Never had a sense or thought that a person among my group was getting an opportunity that I did not because they were White or I was not getting an opportunity because I was Black.

I am 49 years old and I have carried a gun since I was 21. At this point I own enough to carry a different one everyday of the month. Back when I first got my license my state was an open carry state, meaning the weapon had to be visible. I went into Bank of America one morning and waited in line with with my weapon exposed. Somebody tripped the alarm. Of course 30 policemen rushed in and asking no questions filled me with lead.

NOT! A lone WHITE policeman came inside and whispered to me to FOLLOW HIM outside and do not touch anything. We got outside to his car and I showed him my license. He said that the law says that you have to have it out in the open, but just cover it up anyway so people will not get scared.

I have not even been pulled over by a policeman in the last 20 years and the license plate on my car makes it known that I am Black. The two times before that when I was arrested (unpaid tickets), I did not argue and I did not resist. I knew I was in the wrong and did not try to fight the case in the street. I just got the handcuffs on me and got in the car and went to jail. I called someone to get me out. You know, like kind of how the system is designed to work. Simple!

Hell, one time the WHITE cop had pulled me over on the expressway, but when he found out he had to take me to jail he told me to pull off the exit and into a gas station so he would not have to tow the car. Then he let me call my mom and waited for her to come get the car. This was like 3 am. So fuck the shit CNN is trying to make everyone believe about the police and Black people.

And about this systemic racism shit. First question is what did you do to make yourself qualified for whatever you were trying to do? Folks claim this racism only using one set of data. 10 people over here are White and nobody is Black. They never even make mention that maybe no Black people were even interested in the position, or that over the last 10 years half the people applying have been Black but none of those that were QUALIFIED were accepted. We are led to believe that because there were no Blacks, no women, no gays, no whatever, something is wrong with the system.

Makes a big difference how you make your mind up depending on the data that is available to you. That is why they need to quit letting the public decide a case by seeing a short video clip and go back to the old system where a jury that has been presented ALL the evidence deliberates on the case and comes up with a decision.

I just want to see one time someone ask these well-off or popular people who keep shouting there is systemic racism, "Well how did you do it?" You mean with all this systemic racism the system let you accomplish something you wanted and you got rich. Let everybody in on your method so we can follow in your footsteps and circumvent this racist system you talk about the same way that you did.

Why is it when someone points out how Biden policies are hurting American business and a company like GM announces they are going to spend $1 billion dollars in Mexico rather than USA for their new electric car that you start referencing 1903 auto industry. Biden isn't that old but I guess he acts like it. More industry will move out of USA for taxes and stupid regulations not high labor. Biden regulations and taxes will drive out industry like New York high taxes are driving out people. Bigger government and more government regulations will not attract investment in USA. According to GM. "GM has invested $2.2 billion to retool Factory zero, previously called Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly, to build EVs when that plant opens later this year. GM has said it will eventually employ 2,200 workers and make the GMC Hummer EV pickup, GMC Hummer EV SUV, Chevrolet Silverado electric pickup and the self-driving electric Cruise Origin. At Orion, GM is investing $402 million to build Chevrolet Bolt EV, Chevrolet Bolt EUV and Cruise AV test vehicles. GM said that investment will support 1,100 jobs.

GM recently announced it will invest $2 billion at Spring Hill Assembly in Tennessee to build the Cadillac Lyriq EV SUV along side the internal combustion SUVs it presently builds. GM is investing $800 million in CAMI to build the EV600 electric delivery truck later this year for GM's electric light commercial truck startup BrightDrop. " So GM has spent or will spend $5. 5 Billion to upgrade US and Canadian plants.

Additionally, the fact that GM workers in Mexico are paid $15 PER DAY (1/10th of what US GM workers are paid) probably had absolutely nothing to do with GM's decision. Smh.

Why do Republicans now have this existential dread of Biden, Kamala, AOC, paid sick leave, Social Security, etc? If you're a Fox viewer, and you doubt this, here's an experiment you can try on yourself: turn off Fox for a week and then measure your blood pressure.

If you want to know the news you either watch Fox News or stop for a week. No one watched CNN or MSNBC to hear real news. They listen to it to get all the liberal high five fake news. What democratic country are you speaking of? The USA is a constitutional republic. American citizens do not make the laws. They only vote for the people that will make the laws. So they in effect would be voting for the PEOPLE that would make laws against their self-interest. For example the gun laws. You don't need to be able to protect yourself. As to gun laws, the context of the second amendment involves maintenance of state militias, which is largely made obsolete by national guards. That's in spite of these wingnut Alex Jones fans running around hiding from black helicopters. It is good news that violent felons and those with severe mental problems have no right to own grenades or sub machine guns, so there are limitations. We the people through our representatives decide what the limitations are going to be, as to certain weapons, background checks, etc.
