The exception is delivery health. Here, vaginal sex is not included, and is at the discretion of the girl, and will depend on your ability to negotiate a "tip" for FS.

I was just by there a few days ago and there was literally a sign that said "WELCOME" in English on the front.

I wonder what happened.

I agree that soaplands are great. There are several in Kabukicho that take foreigners, but I would go to the main soapland area in Yoshiwara and do Casanova or Kings Room. Kings Room costs a lot more, but it's worth it. Casanova is still good too. Both are 100% foreigner friendly, so no problems there.

I would personally stay away just for the insane up charge, but if you enjoy it and are okay with the foreigner tax, then sure go for it. For that price, they should at least offer BBFS, hopefully.

Out of the high class soaplands, I think etoile gives you the best bang for your buck. Ai isn't that popular but her service is top notch.

And a random tip if you want BBFS, get tested on your first day so you can have a test result handy to convince the girls. Especially if you're not east Asian, you would have a much better chance at asking for BBFS if you have a test result. It's going to cost you around $100-$200, well worth the effort.

IYO best local city in Japan for Nuru.

I haven't personally been to some of the shops mentioned, but I've experienced YMMV and gaijin tax enough elsewhere to add some general tips:

Sometimes when a place is busy, they'll say "Japanese only". Especially Golden Week, there were shops that let me in before who became "Japanese only". Other times, a shop had problems and switched to it. It is basically one owner calling all the shots on policy.

About the gaijin tax, local residents of Japan can often dodge it. It doesn't matter if you are White as snow with an obvious accent, many places care if you are a local resident of Japan versus an inbound (aka tourist) visitor. At Yoshiwara I once went with a Japanese speaking Japanese American friend, and they told him he had to pay the tax. So we went korgs at Shin okubo instead. It is a liability issue because one key to enforcing safety is they can track down locals who cause problems.

When I called a soapland and told them their girl said I could book her, they asked me if I was "from abroad". Caller ID of course showed I had a US phone number. They told me they can't take such reservations. It is technically not true since I did make the reservation anyways, but in a sense it's true because that staff does not have authority to take the risk. There is basically more than one way to make a reservation, so I had the girl tell her boss who confirmed the reservation in the system. The boss' word is final of course. The guy working the phone is like a secretary who isn't going to bother the boss for some tourist who's probably just going to visit one time anyways. I had this same problem at Etoile where I could not book a girl by phone even though I could tell her through LINE to book me instead.

About bb, most shops don't offer it but some do. The girl I saw told me many girls at her shop all offer it but the girl always has final say and can say no to anyone. It's not super common, but it's not rare either.

For those who bb regularly, you can try online telehealth if you need anti-bacteria treatment. Or if you quit bb, you can use it to be clear of bacteria before taking on a new long-term partner.
