Try to contact the independent ladies there. It might be easier to get a booking and make a name for yourself. Finally, take a look at backpage, craigslist, annoncesintimes, kingdom99 etc. Some indy ladies might accept someone without reference on a particularly slow day. Beware however, on these sites you will sift through a lot of dirt to get a pearl. Be polite, but smart: price wise, too good to be true is always exactly that. Finally, if you ever go to meet a lady and something is off, just walk away without hesitation.

In my experience, the best montreal agencies provide the hottest girls with the best service at the best price. I would only go see an indy if it was a girl who I had seen before at an agency. Working with an agency removes the barriers of requiring a reference.

Agencies have no screening in Montreal and the girls are excellent in every imaginable way-- and cheaper. Even US escort agencies screen. No one checks who is going up to your room, and the escorts are indistinguishable from college students and non-sex workers in their 20's. Montreal's economy is weaker than the rest of Canada's, especially after the oil sands and banking boom that benefited everywhere but Montreal.

A tremendous number of the Montreal escorts go to Montreal for college or vocational training or first jobs after leaving the banality of the small villages in Quebec. Most are bilingual, but more comfortable with French than English. So they don't leave for the English-only places far away from family and friends in droves.

Montreal is a friendly party-town, so it is a lot more fun than where they often grew up. I am not sure it is possible to exactly figure these things out. Certain countries even in Europe are much more openly sexual than the country next door.
