If you ever happen to be in Kharkiv in the next two weeks, come say "Hi" at Radmir Club.
And don't stay at the bar nervously nursing your Baltika like a loser, as you surely always do. I'm the dude with the Berluti shoes sitted in the VIP area with five super hotties at his table.
do you really expect everything to served on a plate for you?
i do not mean to sound rude.
i am a frequent visitor of belarus, but why should i post?
i have almost none to discuss the belarus scene with here.
this is not to start an argument, just to answer your question, ok?
and by the way, you deserve commendations for doing your duty, and sharing those views of the business end of your white russian comrade's starfish.
and kudos to kurenda's keen eye on the matrimonial band mention, not much gets past the master!
but to answer why should you post? please don't discount the hundreds of your fellow members who truly seek to learn from your experience. you are much more fortunate than you realize, to have such opportunity to spend quality time off the beaten path. the number of members with 20 visits to a place like belarus must certainly be less than 5, if that many, so your reason to post can't be to have someone to discuss the scene with.
the reasoning has to be, simply put, to share your experience, with those of us who, for whatever reason, choose a different destination. you already know my philosophy, that it would be really boring, and basically suck, if we all wanted the same thing, or all went to the same place. the coolest thing about fsu, is that its big enough to allow for many years to come of mongering exploration.
but what good is exploring, if you're not going to come here, to the national geographic of pussy, as jackson had the genius to give us, and share something from your adventures? whether that's stories, or photos, or info, or advice, the content is not necessarily the issue, but the intent should still be, not to keep it all to yourself. especially because you think its not worth it to post, simply because no one is going to give something back to you that you can use.
really, felix, its that attitude, that guys like you know who, a name i need not mention, drag the whole board down, with their whining and empty boasts, that only know how to complain about what other guys write, while they brag on their own success, yet have nothing to show, because in reality, there is nothing. its a dead giveaway that their motivation is greed, not generosity. beating one's chest like a dumb ape requires no effort, imagination, or resourcefulness. convincing reluctant dyevs to model in the nude, is, as you know, quite a bit more of a challenge.
you do it, because your brothers here, at least the ones with any class, that are not consumed by the bitterness of jealousy tied to their own failures, appreciate your efforts, whether they express that appreciation, or not. and i don't just mean photos, because the tales of your adventures are also fun to read, and likewise appreciated. certainly more than the incessant whining and bragging of those who can't do anything else, or delude themselves that photos of booze bottles will impress anyone.
jonesy couldn't be more right, when he mentioned that the arguing back and forth, on style, and approaches, is akin to schoolyard poseurs. its an absolute waste of bandwidth.
you, on the other hand, could be providing something that maybe nobody else, other than kurenda, can give us. a keen insight into the shady world of belarussian mongering, and i think i had to make sure you understand that there are readers who appreciate that kind of contribution, because you asked why should you do it, like you knew no reason that would make it worth your trouble.
we've had our disagreements, no doubt, and certainly more to come, but don't let that get in the way of what's good for the board. just because you don't get something, should never be a reason for you not to give, and give generously, to this institution. i'm absolutely certain that the majority agrees with this philosophy.
so don't get your panties in a bunch. let's start this new decade with a better outlook on what we can all do to make isg more worthwhile and less bitter and toxic. find some motivation to peel back a few layers of your belarussian exploits, and give us all something to ponder.
because if you haven't noticed, the kharkov board mysteriously has not had a single post since september 2010, even though someone's been very busy posting hundreds of complaints and insults, posted by someone who's supposedly "having a blast there with 5 super hotties at his table" every night. sounds coincidentally very similar to all those tashkent fictions about the bevies of incredible exotic goddesses. quite hard to believe, isn't it?
well, not really. .
Bottles pic and post was a joke to point that creating a fun atmosphere by paying drinks and ordering bottles at table is one of the key to success in FSU clubs. Being stingy is not a behavior that FSU women understand nor respect.
Kharkov pics and report to come. Maybe. As Felix just said, why and for who posting reports?
As for Uzbekistan, full Tashkent report in the Uzbekistan ROD with plenty of addresses and tips. Something a priori more useful for the monger than all the BS nonsense of some unhinged serial posters here.

Hi Guys,
I have 2 simple questions for you who knows this city:
We are 2 guys, in our 30's, decent looking, who speaks Russian, and we will go in Minsk soon. Of course to visit and make the touristic things but also for girls.
Where should we spend the 2 nights we will have (Friday, Saturday) ? :
First club should be with fun girls, to hope some kissings, games, at least to spend a good night with locals. If possible not with 19 year old only crowd as we are not 19 anymore...
Second club should be maybe a little bit more upscale, where amazing models can be found, of course for a financial compensation.
I will go through the thread of course, but a last updated advice is always welcome.
Thanks in advance
Hi,
I also was much more than 20 times in Belarus.
But I don't have to report to much here. I am not there for paid sex.
So tell us what happened. Freelancer? Is it possible only with english. For sure not
Anyone want some possible direction or introduction, just write me! Minsk can be very good!
Anyone going to Minsk should be aware of the current currency crisis. It seems like banks are out of USD and Euros. It has been a problem since late March. People can simply not get any hard currency for their Belarus rubles and situation is getting desperate. That means that you have to bring the hard currency with you as you can not trust to get USD or Euros in a bank from your visa card. The exchange rate has risen for the USD and was at one point up to 6000 against the ruble. There has also been established a black market exchange where you can get better deals. People do not trust the government and are desperate to get hard currency to get secured.
The reasons according to the government is that people go abroad to buy cars. The real resons are that the embargo on Belarus after the unfair election has started to affect the country in a severe way. Companys in Belarus can not import the items they want and and stopped their production and hence the cash flow has drained. Up to 600 000 workers has been released form their jobs. Belarus begs Russia for an emergency loan to save the situation and new laws are being passed on. It means that Russia can tighten its grip on Belarus. The love-hate relationship between Russia and Belarus means that Batka has to bend over. Belarus have consumed their 2009 IMF loan and will not get another due to the reverse of the democratic development. Another reason is probably the unrest in some arab countries that has stopped foreign investments. Belarus has good connections with Libya and they do have some problems so to say. Egypt and a few other countries has other problems to focus on as well.
It could also mean harder times to get a visa, or easier. They need the cash. Who knows.
Hard times also means that some girls will drop their panties easier. Not all, but some girls looking for sponsors are searching, and that goes for a few normal girls as well. I have gotten a few offers from girls already that I thought was out of reach. Nothing bad that doesn't bring any good. Still the same pros and cons as mentioned before. Just wanted to give a heads up about the currency situation.
Felix nice GF but does her husband approve you?
Well, you have sharp eyes! . Well spotted! I did ask her last time in early March and she showed me the ring. Not a wedding ring, but with religous inscriptions bought in a church because she loves god. I think I can believe that. However one can never be too sure. Anyway, as long as she is open for me thats fine. Marriage plans are not present so to say.
And she does do ass to mouth. Another reason to keep her.
Cheers,
Felix

Nice summary. I've been to Belarus a couple times and know Minsk well. What's up with the 6, 000 roubles to 1 dollar rate? I noticed a spike as high as 3, 070 to 1, but it's been hovering around 3, 000 for the past couple years. I haven't seen 6, 000 and all exchange rate sites don't point to this either.

However if you check this link you can see:

I do not know what todays rate is. The main thing is to be aware of the currency problems.

/Felix
Hi Felix, what's up?
Thanks for this post of great added-value. I also checked the exchange rates today and the € is about 4 500, which seems great. Don't know the ruble/€ conversion historic though, you remember how as it say two years ago? And you know what is currently the black market rate for the €?
Belarus has always be described as a rather "expensive" country (well, compared to Ukraine). The rouble depreciation surely set up a new deal (cheaper running costs and "dating expenses"). What's your thoughts about it?
Cheers
Hi everyone,
I am due to go to Minsk in May for the first time. I will stay at hotel Planeta which seems to be nice for mongering. I need some basic information about local habits, such as average price for ST and any other tips.
Can somebody give me hand?
Sam
