Maybe intill now gt Vienna hasn't seen the potential fully yet, but a lost opportunity is a lost market. Many tourists spend 10 x the normal local joe. But he hates getting scammed.

In 2011 I was visiting Golden Time quite a lot, something like every 2 weeks for 6 to 8 months, and even when I had begun many girls recognized me from earlier trips. So the service I got was generally good, even with new girls who were part of the social circle of girls I regularly sessioned with. I did not have to worry about this or that, every now and then I had a bad experience with a girl who was certainly trying to do the least during a session. So I never agreed with the reports from some mongers that this club is generally awful for service and with a lot of upseling like Artemis and Palace in Frankfurt.

Nowadays I visit Germany a lot more and go to Vienna only a few times a year and the quality of the service is certainly a lot worse than what I remember. There seem to be quite a few girls who perform below expectations. So I think Massimo has a point here that if you are a regular visitor the girls generally perform better. Now I can see why some reports the service is the sub par here.

However what you said about tipping, Massimo, does not inspire confidence in me to say the least, the price is the agreed price, and despite what many people say, I think it is a fair price and the girls agree to work for it. I can see how the girls will modify their behavior in response to common tipping. In that case they will even try to institutionalize this with upselling behavior.

2. However if Austrians do tip a lot I think they are responsible for the quality of service declining in this club, so this point I give to Pistons. For example in well known service clubs with a lot of locales like Babylon, Elsdorf, even if a non regular visitor shows up, in my experience, he also almost always receives good service. Luder Lounge, which has a click clientelle is like this, I did not fit there but always got very good service there except once from a black girl.

So Austrian tipping behavior is not without guilt in the decline of service quality in my opinion.

I didn't intend to portray GT as a scam or anything malicious. You just get very little for your entree fee, compared to pretty much every other club I've been to. Nothing else, and I understand how a monopoly makes this possible. It surprises me that Funpalast isn't gaining ground on them, but maybe that's because of the one time visitor thing. Then a one time payment of 90 is probably something you can stomach.

During my visit the Bulgarian group was mainly sitting opposite the bar and food corner and doing many rounds.

I also didn't experience much about the up sell situation, since I didn't really get in the position where this could have happened (but I was told by multiple girls how the upsell works and is common, mostly with a.

Big smile on their faces). With Diana nothing was discussed and the service was fine, maybe she asked about CIM during the BJ, but I am not sure. The second was a girl I knew already and before the room we talked for a long time, including about the extra situation and the fact that I needn't worry about it was established long before we even started thinking about actually doing something together. The third girl I approached myself and after checking about DFK and then also BBBJ, she claimed she wanted more for good service. She never actually denied BBBJ for the normal rate, but promised a teethy experience (this fit logically in her funny attitude). After some back and forth we settled on a small extra. Maybe nothing would have been said if I'd gone to the room without discussing anything.

What tipping is concerned, I'm with Delta Indigo. But if that's the Austrian way, I guess you need to be a bit "when in Rome about it".

In GT a girl, who offers a poor service, gets 60. It's not possible to give her only 50 or 40, but if I get above average service without upselling I give a tip with pleasure. I gave the first tip in GT ten years ago, when was the first time there. During next five years and about 30 trips to GT had mostly very good services, because I knew girls. This was important, not my tips.

I find this a surreal debate but since we are at it, how about this theory. People don't tip enough which causes in part the upsell problem.

And I also don't see why there is a "problem" to speak of. If you are not willing to be upsold to then choose a girl that won't do it. They are there, be sure of it.

Next week I'm in Vienna and hope to visit GT and Babylon and maybe FP and Maxim based on reports here. Given that Austria has a far-right government in power, will I, as a non-white Brit, have any possible difficulties in being denied entrance to any of these places?

I've always been in the mindset that I should tip if I'm pleased with any service I get, regardless if its a waiter in a restaurant or a girl in a brothel or FKK. Giving tips to the girls is perfectly normal for me if and when they deserve it.

On the other hand, upsells are a completely different topic that I'm definitely not okay with.

Also I don't think that I wrote that it will open soon but their plans were announced fairly recently. If I had to wager on whether they would make BBBJ standard without extra charges or not, I would wager against it. Don't make me compare the odds, though, please. It is just not a wise move to dictate the services of the ladies in Austria. It is enough that house prices can be agreed on which must already be a stretch if we interpret the law literally.

I never said tipping was bad. So it is weird you can give me that point. As long as nobody is tipping average service at least. And don't over-tip as I consider a 20 on a 60 to be. But a fair tip is always good in order to increase service behaviors.
