However, the easiest and best way to book is by calling. It will cost you about 0, 5 Euro, so it should not bankrupt anyone.

See who is actually around on the day and hour you need (call, as the website is an approximate guide but not fool proof) , and call from Berlin so it's cheaper (can't believe this is really such a big deal but--if so, use pay booths which would cost EUR 0.20 for maybe 3 min or so).
