Asian Travels encountered the same problem I was trying to avoid so I feel quite justified in asking things. BTW, after checking my posts, I see I have been able to contribute to the forums on the questions of ATMs for foreign cards(#4048) so I haven't only been making inquiries. Yeah, it's the only one so far but I give where I can.
