I browsed through various escort sites and by now they seem to have realised as well that they need to stop operating as well. Particularly the agencies that are mostly offering Romanian ladies and those from other Easter European have practically nothing to offer as almost all ladies have left or are still trying to leave (massive traffic jams on the way to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, etc. Right now).

It all boils down to protecing our elderly and let's take this seriously, please.

Thanks to Massimo for the update. Things are the same here in the USA, although more underground. Realistically, I can't see things (sex industry and all of society) returning to any sense of normalcy until the summer. Then, it's flu season again in the fall.

How long is the lockdown in Vienna scheduled to last until? In Zurich its currently till April 19 (but that could get extended).

First they told us to wait until April 12th but just a few days ago they told us that it won't hold and will be extended until when we don't know yet. In regards to paysex I think we should not have high hopes in April or May. June 2020 might be more realistic.

We expect to open again around June or July but I can tell you that there are few bankruptcies already, so Vienna will be an interesting place when we are allowed to open again.

They didn't specifically mention prostitution in today's press conference which is still going, by the way. Service industry of any kind which includes hotels, bars etc. Will, at the very earliest, open middle of May if everything goes well. But, and that is probably indicative of what is going to be the problem, events of any kind will not be allowed before end of June, as it seems now, and that will probably include night bars, discothekes and prostitution. So, we can look at a time window between middle of May and end of June 2020 to go back to normalcy.

Our results and statistics (those that we see so far) are really impressive and we have slowed Corona down fairly well but they do not want to allow it to speed up again, so we should not expect the government to step away from the current plan. We all have to wait as it seems.

If the rate is flattened they won't. If it goes down, then they will. The point is that even after the lockdown is lifted, it would be still not business as usual. Social distancing will still be in effect.

Even if the lockdown is lifted by May or June then things will take time to settle down. Already the IMF has said that there is a recession because of this Corona. So the government will see which are the businesses that doesn't let this thing to spike up again.
