Most mid-range large hotels don't bother, and the girls don't dress in a way to raise flags, so they can normally stroll right up to your room.Haven't tried AM myself. Japan is a lot like Korea where the Foreigner gets turned away frequently and immediately.There's Internet shops where you go and log on to find ads.Sometimes they won't even let you in. Maybe tip the doorman/mamasan??Anyway, go log on and find the girl you want and let the people do the work.

I am also surprised a senior member would not know its meaning.On another more positive note. I am not 100% sure but I think I had the new girl-ai- from AM (thats asian mystique for Evan Stoner) but it was through a DH (delivery health) in shibuya. It was pretty weird. I was out drinking and my buddy said lets go get some ramen. He led me to a small shop on a side street. To my pleasant surprise the menu had chics pictures instead of noodles. Anyway I ended up in a LH (love hotel) and Ai showed up. She is okay looking. Service is ok (OKAY)

The reason we have an abbreviations list (see link I noted) is so we have a central location for abbreviations... so folks need not search through the entire forum.
