Very beautiful, great service, not so great English, but that's ok. However I had Maya over back when she was a "Regular" Angel. I think she upgraded to Platinum about 6 months ago. CB is already a little pricier than AM, so the Platinum prices are really a stretch. I haven't had Maya over since her upgrade. Many people often post about racism here. For the most part I agree that there is a level of racism. But, I don't necessarily think there is more of it here compared to other countries. Espcially the U. S. While it is true that you that you generally won't get thrown out of a place for being of a different race in the U. S. , you might not get equal treatment. Especially in less metropolitan areas of the U. S.The Japanese will treat you differently if you are a foreigner. But they tend not to chase a black guy, or a gay guy down the street and beat him to death just for being different. I think that is a positive.Lastly, I'd like to mention something that I think people don't understand here in Japan. The Yakuza (Japanese Mafia) which runs the majority of the sex related industry, is ultra ultra ultra conservative and very right wing. They are as pro-Japan as the ultra conservative right wingers in the U. S. Are pro-America. This is why they actively refuse gaijin. This is also why it is more difficult to go into a love hotel with 3 or more people, or as a gay couple, or even alone. It's because of their conservative views on sex, I. E. It should be between a man and a woman. I have been to Jan Jan many times, and have always been welcomed. (I clearly appear to be a gaijin.) Some other shops on the street in Sugamo have turned me away as a gaijin, but Jan Jan has always been one of the reliable shops for entry in my experience. Also - it seems a little unbelievable that the tout would invite someone in but the man inside would refuse - they usually get their signals right. So the original story probably omitted something - my guess is "I fucked Haruhi" said something to provoke a negative response... But no matter what the cause, even if things had gone the way described, making a scene just doesn't get you anywhere - and it may just make it harder for other gaijins to be accepted ... sometimes you just have to suck it up and move on. You aren't going to change those xenophobic atitudes by making a scene.

Was just going to write about my second trip to Jan Jan when I read the stuff below. That and the expectation of high prices resulting in fights and things along those lines. The "kinder gentler" aspect is that he didn't end up severely injured in a dumpster. In New York, if you tell the doorman of a strip club he's got a small dick. There's a pretty good chance there's going to be a fight!
