How are things going up north?
This thread has become ominously quiet lately especially since the outbreak of the Corona virus has spread into North America. Is it what this all about? Something is up. Mongering cannot possibly be stopped during the pandemic or, some would say, hysteria. Can it? LOL. My buddy and I have been debating about heading North within the next few weeks or not. At least, the northern border is not closed, or not yet. :-)
It would be helpful to find out if many mongers have recently crossed the borders and the kind of experience they have encountered. If you did cross the borders, were you questioned and passport verified where you've have been in the preceding 14 days? (If so, you must bring a passport book, instead of just a card, to show the history of stamps to prove where you've traveled to.) Were you interrogated more severely than usual about what you're doing specifically in MTL during this time of the year? Were you suggested to self quarantine by both sides of the borders? Were your forehead temperature checked as you would have checked at some airports?
What about the services from the WGs? Have they withheld certain service like DFK because they get paranoid about the Corona thing? Have the agencies asked where you're from to decide whether to let you see their WGs? I guess if you're into hobbying, the practice of 'social distancing' is pretty much out of the question. LOL. Any advice, recommendation, suggestion, warning, deterrence, comment, observation, thought, hint, whisper, etc. ?
