Being in Vienna on a Saturday evening, and always ready to try out the best places, I headed to the Babylon.

I arrived there around 22h30 and was greated by a very nice and welcoming staff. Entry is 130€, but is waived if you take a girl in a room (450€ for one hour if I remember correctly).

Doorman asked if I wanted to tour the place before to take my decision to stay or not, and I accepted. He called a girl and she showed me the premises. Very nice, all big rooms with huge beds, jacuzzis and showers. It reminded me of the Yab Yum (Amsterdam) but in a less classy way.

Bar area is quite small and furnitures really old fashioned. There was around 17 girls, and not many customers. I have been told that Saturdays are usually very quiet, and it's "better" on Tuesdays or Fridays (better means more customers, not more girls).
So general mood wasn't very upbeat, all girls sitting and drinking.

I took a stool on the bar, and ordered a drink. 90% of the girls were from East Europe (Czech, Russia, Moldavia, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine), one from Senegal, two or three from Spain/Brazil.

It was quite easy to be introduced to the girls, as some of them took turns to come to see me, but there wasn't any pressure at all. If you want to talk to one girl, just wave her and she will come.

Range was 5 to 7, all girls being either "curvy" or "having lot of mileage". I couldn't really find any girl with whom I would have wanted to have sex (even for free). Of course, I was sober. I couldn't drink because I had important business the next day (and in these places, either I don't drink, either I end completely wasted in total rampage and the staff has to bring me back incouscious at my hotel).
So, being sober, it was incredibly easy to pass on the numerous offers which were made to me. Girls tried everything, DFKing each other in front of me to try to get some attention.

After two hours of hanging around and chatting with the girls (at least I practiced my Russian), I decided to call it a night and pay the 130€ cover fee.

In conclusion, the place is nice, but honestly quality of the girls is really average. It cannot compete with places like Night Flight in Moscow, or even with the Yab Yum which always has at least one 8 or 9 when I was there.

I may return there, but I know I'll have to drink heavily to turn the 6 into a 9.

Any comments on Donaudolls? I am a frequent FKK'er in Frankfurt, and since I am in Vienna shortly I was wondering if this matches up to the Frankfurt experience? Certainly the website mentions a EUR70 entrance and seems to give the impression of a FKK experience but I was wondering if anyone had tried this place and if what they promised was true.

If not is there anywhere else you would recommend?..Or should I just fly to Vienna making a stop en route in Frankfurt to 'empty my tanks'?

I went to Goldentime and it was quite good...but not as good as Frankfurt's Palace (which is bigger and fancier). Just do a search to find my reviews and those of others.

However, I am still interested to hear from Vienna regulars about how Donaudolls compares to Goldentime. Past reviews have suggested that it is smaller and not as many girls (in quality and quantity) but it would be good to have a more recent review.

So why do some of us like Babylon? Unfortunately the last reviewer arrived on an off night. It happens, particularly on a Sat night. Remember, the babylon is primarily the realm of the business man, and on Sat night, he's typically at home with the wife. The girls and club know this and so generally its not well "manned" on weekends. The latter part of the week is usually the best time to visit.

I've been to the Bab many times and have experienced nights where I didn't have the time, and money or stamina to experience all the babes I wanted. I've also been on nights as was described, a bit slow and disappointing. Usually, there are always at least a half dozen real stunners available.

In any event, the club is about the atmosphere. You can spend the whole night drinking and eating in comfort and usually surrounded by beautiful women. The price is expensive, but again, its designed that way. Perhaps a bit cruel, but the price does bring an aire of exclusivity to the club and you know that the girls are not servicing 10 guys each night.

Yes I've been in there recently and didn't like anyone which the hostess noticed and tried to rectify. As the night went on and I chatted to a few some more came in and in the end it was a good night. I've not been to many in Vienna but I've taken a few friends there and although hesitant to start with have been back for more since. I guess that's the beauty of having different types of clubs in Vienna they appeal to all us types of men so we're not all in the same one.

As mentioned here Babylon is undergoing a revamp as its aquired Beverley Hills next door (a lap dancing bar) and so going on the size of that it should be a fantastic place once its finished. I have been wanting to ask a question for some time now but have not quite known how to ask it. A few years ago, I was in Vienna on business staying at the Mercur Hotel on Fleishmarkt near Rotenturnstrasse. For several nights, my colleagues and I had come home late from dinner or drinks and seen the Hollywood Gentlemen's Club across the street from the hotel. Having heard about these "rip off" places for years, I had no interest in going at all but one night my colleague convinced me that we should go inside and have one drink. Going inside we ordered a beer at the bar and within a few minutes a lovely girl asked if we would like to purchase a bottle of champagne to drink with her for 500 Euros. I almost laughed out loud because I had heard about these places and politely said "no thank you". My friend had also never actually been to one of these bars but worse still, he had never had the benefit of hearing any of the stories either. Therefore he seemed quite intrigued with the whole place. I continued to decline offers of champagne but my friend grew more and more curious. It was well past midnight and we had been eating and drinking for hours and I was feeling quite drunk and ready for bed. I told my mate that I was going to bed and that he should follow if he knew what was good for him.

I left the bar, crossed the street to the hotel and went up stairs. My room had a view of the street and so periodically I looked out the window to see if my friend was coming home. Soon, I gave up looking and went to bed. The next morning, my friend was in poor shape. Not only because he had continued drinking and was clearly in need of more sleep, but because of the story he then told me.

Apparently after I left, the girls continued to offer him bottles of champagne but now the price has gone up to 800 Euros. He showed me his Visa card receipts and indeed he had three receipts for 800 Euros and four receipts for 1, 500 Euros! I asked him what the hell had happened but, he could not tell me the details. He said that he felt like he was in a haze and was powerless to refuse. I asked him if he had fucked one or a two of these girls, but he told me he was sure that there was no sex involved. He remembered something about a private dance in a special room, but that the girl stripped only down to her underwear. He said he tried to at least get a blow job out of the deal but she refused. They went back to the bar where the manager now was pressuring him into purchasing more and more champagne.

If what this poor bastard was telling me was the truth, then he spent 8, 400 Euros on champagne and not much to show for it. The whole thing seems rather fantastic to me. First, the 1500 Euro receipts were for magnums of champagne. If a magnum is 1. 5 liters, then he bought the equivalent of 11 bottles of champagne that night for 3 or 4 people max. When I left, there was the manager woman and two other girls, plus a bar tender. How could a few people have drank 11 bottles of champagne? I don't get it.

Has anyone heard of this bar called "Hollywood" on Feischmarkt and ever heard about such a thing happening? Something seems very wrong about my friend's visit and it has bothered me ever since. He is no longer any fun at all on business trips and just stays in his hotel room. What the hell happened? Any guesses? What is he not telling me?

I thought sex in Moscow was expensive. Sounds to me like champagne in Vienna is worse. I told my friend that the saddest part is that the two of us could have gone to Babylon for that much money and had a very fine time indeed.

Well, my Goldentime experience was similar to last time. Lots of girls (more than 20, compared to an equal number of guys) sitting around, but they won’t approach you unless you make eye contact and smile. Most were 6-8’s.

I managed to get the attention of what I considered the only 9, Tanya from Romania. Long darkish hair, lovely eyes and lips, and wonderful body. I am spending three nights in Vienna next week. Ostensibly because I love coffee houses. But also because the scene looked rather better value than the current situation in London.

But having read the forum, I'm finding it hard to decide how to spend the €600 or so I have to play with. (I really do wish I was "Youwishyouwereme"! ). These are the options I'm considering.comments from your different perspectives and current info very welcome.

1) Babylon. For an experience of a life time. Costing about €450 for an hour in the room. I like the flavour of the reports, am midweek so should be some real choice. And particularly like the idea of dinner first with the girl of choice (but not sure how easy it is to pull this off! ) Could afford to pay the entrance fee and repeat if no-one catches my fancy. Alternatively spend the balance at Goldentime. But have some feeling of all my eggs in one basket. And what do I do on the other two evenings?

2) I like the look of Josefina's website and it looks as thought that would cost me €230 plus €45. 50 for drinks? Sad that the dress is not as shown. Very elegant. But are there enough and a variety of girls to make it likely that one will click with someone. Or be worth a second visit. Also what if no-one clicks? Is there an equivalent of the Babylon entrance fee.

I'm taking it from the forum that the forum that escorts are now very much hit & miss given theat Butterfly has gone. My thoughts were

Well Vienna does present a few enticing choices. I've used the outcall services from Brataslava with mixed results, some great, some not so great. The only problem with these is that the dates are typically 3-6, 12 or 24 hours long. A very long time indeed if you don't hit it off. I'd be unlikely to blow the entire wad on one lady unless you get some very good intel on your lady of choice.

Any particular reason for suggesting Donnudolls rather than Goldentime? It seems to get fewer reports here.
