In the upper area (formally the dining area) they've added a bar which is good because they were previously short on bar space, but unfortunately they've cluttered up the rest of the area with cheap local furniture. As for the food, I asked to see a menu and they produced one. Under the heading of "snacks" it basically consisted of various types of meat (beef, chicken, pork, etc) served with or without chips. So in other words, very uninspired local offerings. I suspect that when you were there they either just ran out of food, the cook left for the night or was just too lazy to prepare anything.

Beeing a model is, like you say, not necessarily glamorous. Dating and fucking a model is not necessarily glamorous either. I've only met three in Kampala. At least one of them have apperead in the magazine [i]African Woman [/i]this year, showing different kind of fashion wear, thus meeting the [i]Wikipedia [/i]definition. Salary is not very much: 200 k, but having the occasional drink in a bar like Bubbles is within reach.

(In parenthesis: how a person who is an estabilshed model suddenly should cease to be a model once she/he enters a bar like Bubbles is beyond me, but some guys obviously thinks so. Of course they are perfectly entitled to stay in this deception.)
