What an excellent laid back city, OK its poor and the infrastructure leaves a lot to be desired, but my general first impression is of a cheap and relatively safe city with enormous potential.

Arrived via Istanbul, unfortunately the TK air plane was delayed so it’s arrival coincided with the arrival of the Air Moldova and Rome flights, this meant about 400 people trying to make their way through immigration and customs in an area designed (if indeed it was designed) for about 100.
Absolutely no problems getting through passport control – I have a European passport- simply asked where from and how long I intended to stay. No fee and no hassle much to my surprise. Bags were scanned on exit but not stopped even with a laptop, 2 new playstations and some sex toys (leather cuffs and neck ties).

I am here to marry my long time stunning blonde Moldovan fiancée, so I have a native speaker to accompany me around the city. We are renting a two bed apartment (600€ for one month all inclusive) which is much better value than the rip off hotels. The apartment is around the corner from the National Hotel so it’s within easy walking distance of all major venues.

First evening we had a few beers in the very good ‘Beer House’ on boulevard Negruzi. A shady terrace and pleasant evening sunshine made for a relaxed and enjoyable time. Staff were friendly and some English was spoken. The beer is brewed on the premises. 0.5 ltr of filtered lager 37 lei and unfiltered at 34 lei. Exchange rate is about 16.5 to the Euro and 12 to the dollar. Food is cheap with ample choice. After Kazakhstan I am amazed at how cheap it is.

Walking around there are a lot of girls but mostly in the 5-6 range, this is offset by a few 9-10 stunners.

We visited ‘People Club’ on Friday evening. The club is in two parts – Caligula and People. Caligula is a lap dancing bar. Miss O was keen to try it! Entry was 150 lei for guys and incredibly 250 for girls. This gives entry to both ‘People’ and ‘Caligula’ however only one entry to Caligula is allowed. Therefore its better to go into People first and then move up to the lap dancing bar and return to People.

We went to the lap bar first. Good seating with all seats offering a good view of the stage. Non stop topless striptease and pole dancing. Good looking fit girls. The dancers move around the audience after dancing and offer a ‘private’ dance. The waitress quoted 250 one girl on one, or 500 for two on one, in our case 1000 for 2 girls – one each, I declined.

Beer was reasonably priced we had 6x Heineken bottles and 350gms of Russian Standard vodka – 890 lei.

At 1 am it was quite quiet, Miss O was getting increasingly horny looking at the girls. She was doing very good job of making me very horny by playing with me in my trousers. She had my dick out but we felt we would be pushing our luck if she blew me there, even so all the satff were well aware of what was going on.

Of course we were offered a private dance, this time it was a brunette and a very nice busty blonde. We agreed the price before moving to the dance booth.

Somehow I ended up with the brunette, most unlike me! Miss brunette was rather alarmed when she discovered I already had a significant boner! We walked home – no hassle and felt safe. Plenty of couples and single people (including girls) walking.

Star Track

The week in Kishniev continues. Saturday was a wipe out with severe and rather explosive food poisoning; however by Sunday afternoon I was sufficiently recovered to go to the Beer House to have a few liveners.

Decision was taken to go to Star Track late, so after a nap in the evening we made our way there at 2330hrs. Surprisingly busy for a Sunday night. First we went into the downstairs ‘Military Bar’. Admission 30 Lei.

Bar has an upper and lower floor. Decorated with RPGs and an armoured personnel carrier. At 2345 on a Sunday it was pretty full, mainly under 30’s guys with some serious bruisers among them, but more interestingly about 10 girls at the bar obviously working. English is in short supply here, most speaking Romanian and Russian. Eye contact was made with a very nice blonde in the corner but she was surrounded by bruisers and I didn’t have the balls to go up and ask - feeling that my usual “ Kak zavoot, Kak dela, skolka?” routine would fail miserably here. Miss O was also keen to experience the disco upstairs as well.

Star Trak itself is up the stairs, 60 lei entrance fee. Very busy. Populated by under 25 year old rubber people! Unlike Kazakhsan where the discos are also full of young people, I felt pretty much out of place here. No Wgs as far as I could see.

Excellent floor shows most of which would give a UK fire prevention officer a heart attack. Go Go dancers also very fit and, in line with all former Eastern Block countries, the dancing was wild and athletic by all on the floor. Booze was cheap at 40 lei a beer and 50 lei for absinthe and cointreau cocktails.

Miss O was happily dancing when a girl came up to her and said hello, at first she was puzzled as to whom it was but it came to light that she was Miss Brunette from Friday night at the lap dancing bar. She declined a 3 some and did not know any girls who would go for it. Shame.

We left at about 3am with the 3some mission not accomplished but still pretty happy. Outside there was a large gathering of guys I was glad I wasn’t alone and had a Russian speaker with me.

Total damage for the night about 1000 lei.


Thanks to Excess for the kind comment. Miss O and I have been together over 3 years and the easing of the Visa issues will be a relief, first question when travelling witha Russian is always - do you need a Visa?

A first time view of Chisinau Moldova

I had the pleasure of being in Chisinau last weekend for MK's wedding, unfortunately flight plans messed things up and I arrived a day later than planned.

Spent lunchtime sitting outside in Greenhills Restaurant with MK observing the incredible numbers of scantily clad babes of all ages strolling up and down the street - amazing.

That evening Mk had arranged to meet up with MOLDOVAN who promised to bring a couple of his favourite girls for our pleasure.

MK was tempted to contact MOLDOVAN for another meet as he was off the leash for an hour, but prudence prevailed and we went in alone.

Amazing place DEJA VU, everyone enjoying themselves, very good M:F ratio, awesome cocktail service involving near circus acts setting fire to entire bar at some stages.
There was plenty of interest from groups of local babes who seemed to suddenly appear next to us, dancing in those wonderful shoes the girls all wear.
I had a few dances and made conversation with a number of girls, it was obvious that our financial status was the bonus here and a 'pull' would have been fairly easy, but terms and conditions were never discussed, the girls did not appear to be WG and I wasnt going to risk upsetting them by asking.
