It's been a while that I'm lurking around and thought it was time to make some contribution too.

Today I went for my first time to a soap land after reading here and there and making myself some research.

Aaaah! if only those website would be in english too... If only the japanese sex industry would cater for foreigners. They would benefit too! But it is not in their frame of mind, we know that. We know it is far more expensive than other areas of Asia and of the world, but I am pretty sure the quality, in many places, is far better.

I have had, like everywhere else, lousy sessions, as well as fantastic ones. And price is not always high (2 BJs for 2000 yens for instance).

I indeeed generalized a bit as it must be such topics. Maybe my feeling is also influenced by some japanese AV, not comparable at all with any other AV around the world, be it american, south american or european. This goes down to the performer, seemingly taking the extra mile to please, in the real and true sense, the man. I am fully aware AV cannot represent the reality of what you get from the (sex P4P) industry, but nothing happens by chance. There is always a root, an origin, a source from the real world.

Sit back and take heed of my lesson learned. Let me set the scene for you. A friend of mine and I went to Kabukicho for the night drinking and having a good time. Around 4 AM he went home and I started to and then this very nice clean cut looking Japanese guy (maybe 23 or 24) approached me and spoke almost perfect English. He asked me if I was interested in some play and I told him I wanted two gyaru girls with dark skin. He said he could make it happen and called some shops and a man showed up with pics and I asked him to recommend two girl who play with together and off we went to the hotel. He told me the price would be ¥25,000 yen and then when I "selected the pics" it was an extra ¥3,000 which he dropped to ¥2,000 after I balked. It might seem obvious but once you've been here long enough you let your guard down with how honest most Japanese are. Only hand money to a techo in a shop or the girls when they come to your room.

So there you have it, I chalk it up to a hard lesson learned and I hope it can save some of you from the frustration and cash. Now if you don't mind I'm going to curl up on the bed and cry myself to sleep.

The real moral of the story is don't trust anyone on the street in Kabukicho, especially if you have been drinking until 4 AM.
