I was in Ikebukuro for business yesterday and I spent some time at Pururungang again. This time, I had Kurumi. Kurumi will only take foreign customers that speak advanced Japanese. Never been to the clubs but the massage places have much to offer. What is available varies greatly by girl even in the same shop. I had a wonderful experience last night at Jurin near Mermaids.

Err... I am missing something? The Chinese "massagi" girls that I meet in some parts of Tokyo are not street walkers. They are touts who want to take you to a massage place nearby where can get services at different levels, from girls who might resemble photos you are shown at the entrance or not.

The tout that brought you to shop disappears the moment you enter. Or what?

Or what?[/QUOTE]I know in Shibuya and Gotanda they are mostly touts, but the girls I've ran across in Akabane and Nippori seem to be actual street walkers because they latch onto your arm and lead you to a hotel (from what I've witnessed). I've also seen a couple latch onto the arm of a passing business man and say "I haven't seen you in a long time. I missed you, do you have time to play with me today?" Another hint is that these girls are not found inside the actual red light district but near the station. Also, there aren't many "massage" shops in the area, just hostess bars and such. Then there's the fact that their numbers change frequently from 10 to 0 on the street on a given night at a given time (I go shopping around Akabane station and pass by that side of the station a lot). This leads me to believe they aren't touts because the number of touts around is usually constant. For all I know they could all be touts because I haven't tried their services yet, but they act differently from the actual touts I've come across.
