Happy Berry in Kabuki-cho and Raku in Gotanda
I live in Kansai but visited these two places on my recent trip to Tokyo.
It was my third time at Happy Berry, a hotel health place in Kabukicho that has been detailed here many times.
Anyway, I had Honami and she young, stylish, cute and the deep kisses, BBBJ, and sumata were all good. She also had a good attitude and was friendly.
As an aside, while I was in the waiting room I heard a group of two or three study aboard students come in with a Japanese friend of theirs, and despite the Japanese friend's pleading they were turned away as they didn't speak much Japanese. It was quite busy at the time, so perhaps that's the reason, but I think passable Japanese is definitely recommended here.
It was my first time at Raku. I got a 40-something Korean lady. Sorry, I don't remember her name. She was slim and looked pretty good for her age. She was friendly and the asakuri and massage were pretty good. After a CBJ we moved on to FS. She started on top but recommend missionary so that I could do my thing. No real complaints but she was a bit mechanical about it.
This is a personal thing, but as a guy around 30 years old with good Japanese skills, I found I actually much prefer sumata with a young, stylish J-girl (who I can also flirt / chat with) compared to (somewhat mechanical) FS with an older women from elsewhere in Asia.
Lastly, I managed to pick up a cute university student J-girl at Womb club in Shibuya on a Friday night, but it probably helps I can pass for mid-20s. I would feel out of place there in a couple more years.
Consumption Tax (Shohizei) Hike
The other day I visited a DeliHealth provider I occasionally use in Shibuya and was surprised to discover a new price list supposedly incorporating the new 3% consumption tax hike. The former fee of ¥14, 000 (for 60 mins) has become ¥15, 100. Now, I know I'm no mathematician, but when I do the calculation, I can't seem to make ¥14000 plus ¥420 (3% of 14000) equal ¥15100. However, ¥14000 plus ¥1100 (8% of ¥14000) does indeed equal ¥15100. Am I missing something, or has the provider just used the new additional 3% shohizei as an excuse to bump up prices by a full 8% Or, could it be that they were not including any shohizei in the former prices? Are any of you finding the same kind of price hike with your favored providers? And if so, are the new prices appearing on the provider's web site?

Consumption Tax (Shohizei) Hike
It is without doubt an excuse to raise prices. I have seen it happen in other businesses not related to the sex industry as well.
