I'll be in the Shinjuku area in a couple weeks for roughly 24 hours. It's my first time to Japan and I've spent considerable amount of time reading through other sites. In the 24 hours, I'm hoping to cram as many memorable experiences as possible (I know, bad idea, but.). It'd be nice to get a JK experience, an over-night experience, and then to also checkout some local foods and the golden gai area for drinking. I plan on losing a lot of cash for all this, so that's not a concern.

Plan: For JK, I was thinking of something like JKstyle at my hotel (Granbell) or LH nearby in the afternoon after I check-in. For overnight, I'm thinking of trying one of the other services I see online that service shinjuku, and ones that are offering FS based on the reviews and great GFE. For food and golden gai, I'm tempted to find an escort to come with me so that I'm not completely solo in that experience.

Questions for the experts:

* Am I foolish to stick around the Shinjuku area for all of this? I hear Yoshiwara is a lot more gaijin friendly. Since I've only got 24 hours, I don't want to spend too much time traveling, but will if it's worth it.

* Will it be difficult meeting a JK girl, being a gaijin? I keep hearing FS is not on the menu with these girls, which is why I split up the naughty activities into two separate experiences.

* Should I bother having an escort take me out on the town for golden gai, etc? Or should I just venture on my own? Or should I skip golden gai all together?

As it is your first time in Japan, I'm going to assume you don't know, but Yoshiwara is a pure red-light district; everything is brothels which may make it seem like it is more foreigner friendly. Shinjuku only has a small hand full of brothels, only like 1 of them accepts foreigners. Everything else you would have to go with outcall, or incall health place.

There used to be a place that offers foreigners for overnight and escorts for dinners like that (MIJ), but they closed. Have you tried Tokyo Stag? I never used them but they set dates up like that.

Well, it's been a few years or more since I decided to venture over to Jan Jan, reason I haven't bothered to pop up here is because of a not so good experience I had years back with Maki. I arrived around 2 pm got the usual Japanese tout Jan Jan pointing down stairs greeting since this place is such a crap shoot you just never know if you will get something decent or terrible. Thought I'd share my recent experience at Darling Harbour in Yoshiwara.

First off, they accept foreigners no problem. I'm from Japan but grew in Australia so my Japanese doesn't sound "native". I was able to pass off as native but was told by the girl gaijin are OK. Also if you call them they can pick you up at the station. I didn't go with this option as I wanted to see what the neighbourhood was like. Strange that such a street exists within a quiet suburb filled with families and schools. Wouldn't fly at all back in Australia.

I chose Yuuri (12422;12358;12426 for 70 min option at ¥29,800, nothing more. We hit it off but she was mechanical at times. It was my first time in a soapland and it's an experience for any self-respecting monger (oxymoron?) to do while in Japan.

She took me to the top floor (no elevator) and into her room. Pretty spacious given my inexperience with soaplands. Will have to try others to compare.

Started off with her taking my clothes off and neatly folding and placing them in a box. Then undressed her and she led me to a stool with the middle seating area cut out for easy access. Another thing someone mentioned was quality of girl to their respective photo. It's true that the photos are taken in the best lighting and photoshopped. Unlike in other countries or in other P4 P establishments you aren't going to get a donkey when you see a bird in the photo.

Is there any success on Craigslist or Backpage for Tokyo? It seems that there are other sources out there already but not sure if these standard sites have legit providers there or just lot of scammers.

Any info will be highly appreciated. I've my eye on a few on BP and might give it a try. If I do definitely will report back for general knowledge.
