Paradise Kawasaki closing down (permanently?)
It looks like Paradise Kawasaki will be shutting its doors in a couple of weeks (April 20), and it looks permanent.
I've only been there once, and my experience pretty much mirrored Simonwagstaff's below. Many girls "bigger" than expected (and yes I'm a fat guy myself). But I had fun and enjoyed the Japanese "nuru" experience.
With COVID-19 I expected the location to close, but didn't think it would be permanent. Maybe someone has more info?

I was told they will close their Kawasaki store location but their Yoshiwara shop will remain in business.
Business (almost) as Usual
Business as usual it seems. The state of emergency has had no effect.
I agree. I stopped by Otsuka yesterday for a standard DH https://wbc2008.com/core/top.php session. (Note: Japanese skills are a must.) They were clicking on all cylinders but probably not as busy as usual. As a rule it's tough to get a booking with Kirishima-san but yesterday it wasn't a problem.
Paradise Yoshiwara gone too?
Website redirects to THC. First the Kawasaki location closed, now both are gone?
As an infrequent visitor with zero Japanese skills, I can only hope they, or something similar, reopens once things are back to normal.
Paradise Lost, but hopefully not forever
Agree 100%.
I do retain hope however that as things slowly get back to normal (no pandemic lasted forever) and foreigners return to Japan in significant numbers, Paradise's business model will become viable again.
Yeah it was sad news to me, and many of the girls who worked there too. They closed for good on June 1. I guess the lack of foreign tourists in Japan killed their business. Some of the girls moved to their sister "escort" agency Tokyo Hentai Club, while others have gone on to different things.
I loved Paradise and visited both the Kawasaki and Yoshiwara branches in the past. It gave we "hairy barbarians" easy access to the soapland experience (without the xenophobic discrimination that most of the other soaplands establishments demonstrate).
This year was to be a banner year for them with the Olympics bringing in hordes of horny male visitors from all over the world. Then the virus hit and now nada. Everything is gone. We non Japanese speaking gaijin are back to square one. From what I hear, most, if not all, of the soaplands in Tokyo are now refusing to service visitors from China, Europe, or North America due to fears of catching COVID 19 from us.
It's literally going back ten years ago and getting a big "no foreigners" greeting from sex businesses in Japan. Unless there's a vaccine, or Japanese sex businesses become starved for money, we gaijin are likely to continue to be denied.
Paradise opened doors, which are now closing on us. We can still access some delivery health (escort) establishments, namely Tokyo Hentai Club for your Japanese girl fix. Given what the Japanese view as escort services (typically no vaginal sex, unless you can find a girl willing to break that rule, for an extra fee), it's not nearly as satisfying.
I don't know who came up with the concept of sumata (non vaginal sex), but frankly it sucks. That's an "only-in-Japan" concept which is just bizarre and unappealing to me.
I hope someone in Japan tries to open another paradise like soap land someday. I'll keep my mongering to North America in the meantime and really miss my Japanese girl experience until then. I'm afraid it's going to be a long wait. Goodbye Paradise. You will be missed.
