I've never heard the same anecdote twice about Indians but they include: roughly sticking their finger deep into the girl's anus without asking, bad hygene where the girl would only allow doggy due to the smell, and trying to run off without paying (incall service). But the place I use does allow Indians (I pass by them as they leave), these are just what girls say were their experiences. As you say, it doesn't help that they don't seem to care about rules or the law being from abroad. There are certainly good Indian customers. But I also saw some Japanese people speaking to me about it. And, there are those rows of dressed-up girls just standing along the street advertising something like girl bars, for a similar price?

At this point I'm looking to just get my toes wet, and have an hour-long experience just talking to a girl with possibility to touch, possibly in an intimate setting where it's just the two of us.

If they are approaching you on the street as a foreigner it's either a scam or illegal as hell period. The good news is they don't run prostitution stings here like they do in the US. The person your talking to won't be a cop. There version of sting is to watch everything happen then come in stop you and question you. Keep in mind they can detain you for up to 25 days to question you if they want. Sure the likelyhood is low but the possibility is there.

Though I would also say the likelyhood of a street hawkers that approached you first being illegal is low. It's more if you approached them first. The ones that approach you are going off the fact your foreignor and know sex work is legal. So they promise you everything get you into a shady little place. Give you a handjob at most kick you on your way. What are you going to do call the police. Hell if you create an issue the shop itself will call the police. Cause your the one complaining about not getting an illegal service. Of course the shop would never do that. Guess what the speak Japanese you don't and your in a red light area. Your going to lose that argument 9 times out of 10.

Just remember this sex work as a whole is legal. To many foreigners have tried to do things they do in other places thinking they can get away with it. They get rough or aggressive, they make the girl do something she didn't want to do, they try and record it without paying, they take the girls money and run away while the girls in the bathroom. The shops will call the police and the love hotel or hotel will give up the video tapes the day off. Know of a least 5 services members pending legal actions for trying similar things with working girls thinking they wouldn't be reported guess what they got reported career ruined.

It is 6000 yen to 8000 yen (depends on hour of the day) for their promo rate. I don't deal with the Nigerian touts but any tout could take you there if you absolutely insist on it. They get paid a finder's fee from Luxe, it's all open and honest there. Luxe is a "touch girls all you want" club (kissing and boobs okay but don't touch a girl's privates) and at least has Japanese girls. Many of the staff at Luxe are native English speakers who have clearly lived many years in the US. Search this forum about the club. It is pretty good for a club that caters to foreigners.

There are "24 hour information shops" all over Shinjuku and you see the "18 years and up only" curtains in front of them. Just walk in and ask for any place that is "English ok". Manzoku is what Japanese use, but there is one I can't remember the name of the shop that is English staff. Plastered on the walls are all the top clubs mostly oppai pubs and hostess bars or fetish clubs. But you won't find FS or delivery clubs, which is what you seem to be curious about. However you did say you want an adventure so you will definitely find something you can't find elsewhere.

You wouldn't be interested unless you speak enough Japanese to enjoy it. I mean go ahead if you find a girl your type I guess but there is some minimum of language needed to have fun.

For FS, don't rely on touts and research online before you go. I'd give this same advice even to 100% Japanese customers. Don't rely on touts for fs, it just sucks. I mean, I tried a dozen times and every place they took me to sucked. Zero of the places they took me were Japanese. Believe me, they sucked - the girls were ugly foreign girls and that's not half of it.

What's amazing is considering every place I found myself or through Manzoku was amazingly good. Really says something about the Shinjuku tout's (nigerian / chinese) business plan. Ripping off foreigners.

I did not have this issue with touts in other cities, just Tokyo.

Kissing limits things. Some are lfk while a few are dfk. You ask about the risks and while I'd say the risks are low I will list them. Most people in the US already have oral herpes (50 to 80) but if you haven't kissed girls much this might be your first exposure. Those cause cold sores in the mouth, it is so common not worth mentioning. Not to be confused with genital herpes which is more associated with fs. Don't follow random African touts if it can be helped. Don't stick around if nobody's in the bar, or if things feel off.

I picked a girl and they told me she doesn't accept non-Japanese speakers. Then they brought me photos of the girls I could make reservations with. But on the other hand it kind of wastes a lot of time. The cost was 31000 yen, but they said if I visit 8 times I become a member then it becomes 15000 yen (for 70 minutes). Overall, I'd say it was OK. But not always easy for a newer tourist to know which to go to, and as you say there is some risk. Both news and the US consulate warn in particular of underground Kabukicho bars recommended by touts, and lately even downtown Yokohama bars. It is just a few shady bars a tout might take you to but that is the risk.

To give one example of what the term underground bar means. In one case when someone was drugged and overcharged / robbed at a bar, they were the only customer. He filed a police report and when the police went to the bar, it was completely emptied and gone. It is no surprise that the bar would be near empty if drugging was going on. And emptying the bar when not scamming just shows that's all the bar exists for and even the bar owner is involved - this was no mistake or one-off at their bar. But other scams involve over-charging with a low entry fee but a higher "2nd hour" fee, including where girls invite guys and dash to leave them with the whole bill. All kinds of variations of these. I'd even say that when I was in other cities like Nagoya, every tout was legit because they were either a direct shop employee (standing outside on a slow day) or a manzoku employee. Probably on account of Nagoya being not a tourist destination, so downtown caters to locals. Manzoku would not send you to a bad place because they money off repeat visits. I have a 100% success rate going with their recommendation. That is how I found Luxe, Hosekinobako, Leicester, etc. Every shop is clearly advertised on the wall so these are not underground places, they are legit establishments competing to give good service. I've gone to oppai pubs sporadically for 20 years and service is emphasized there just like the rest of Japan.

I have written this already but there was one Chinese run kyabakura that was actually good, and the girls were open to take out. I spoke enough Chinese to have fun. The problem is the Chinese tout took me to 12 places in a row that sucked before finally taking me there, probably because the other places offered bjs and more and probably gave a better finder's fee. It would be pages to write them all out but I would just sum them up by saying they really sucked and the girls were ugly. I am easy to please so I don't say that for nothing. If you are shy and not sure, just ask any guy inside if "English ok" or just walk around quietly looking at the signs. Someone there might be able to speak enough. We all start somewhere. They get paid a small finders fee if they connect you to a shop that accepts you, so they will help you if they think they can. Depending on what you want.

I also visited Amateur Tokyo recently and felt the same. I arrived in the late afternoon and was shown a binder with the system prices. I think locals may get a cheaper price because I noticed that the page I was shown showed prices that were cheaper than on the web site. I had thought I was in the wrong place but then the guy working there showed me another page with the same prices as on the web site. There is no signage outside of the building but the access page on the web site is accurate and the shop is the only thing upstairs. I don't speak any Japanese and I am unsure about the English level of the worker there because he didn't say much. I was shown a handful of girls available and after making my selection was told to pay 27.5 k for 65 minutes: 21 k + 2 k admission +2 k nomination fee + 2. 5 k?. It was unclear what the extra 2. 5 k was for; I think maybe because it was my first time there. I was given a ticket and told to return in 45 minutes.

When I came back, they told me to go to Hotel Top (two buildings down) and the girl came to the room a couple of minutes later. The girl was pleasant enough but did not speak and English. The face on the pictures are a little photoshopped but I would say it is pretty accurate and the age of the girl seemed correct. It was the standard SOP (shower, some play on the bed, BBBJ, another shower).

I did have to pay the hotel 5 k for the room because it was after 5:00 PM (which seems a bit high IMO) so all in I was out 32.5 k for an hour of play. For that amount, it doesn't seem like a good value and if I'm spending that amount I would look at other places next time.
