I've never been to that Carrera 15 scene. Seems too rough and dicey for me.

I assume you didn't get over to Dr. Amor. Would have been interested in your take on that place. Did you ever find Avenida Sexta?

As far as the 1 block taxi ride, the security guard at Veinte 2 insisted, so I trusted his judgement.

That was exactly what Edward told me about the Carrera 15 scene.

I planned on going to Dr. Amor on Saturday, but the election on Sunday closed all the places early on Saturday.

Believe it or not, my apartment was less than a half of a block from Avenida Sexta; did see a couple of walkers.

I will return next summer!

The security guard told me that it was obvious that I was a gringo and insisted that I should not walk in the area. So, I took a fucking taxi to Bar Soreno, even though the place was just a block away. But, I salute the security guard for being concerned for my safety; it was thoughtful.

called for an Uber and when he arrived, he gave me that look of, "What in the fuck are you doing in El Centro?" We chatted and had a good laugh at my expense.
Would I ever return to Cali? Fuck yeah!.

Great report. My real takeaway is that I did not miss a thing when I was in Cali last year and did not partake in any mongering. I am getting embedded in Medellin. Great girls, UTR type girls who need some economic help, I am talking 50 to 100 mil and they party with me. Life is good and I often say that I should have been born with 3 dicks because I could use them in my adventures in paisa land.
