Please do a testing 15-20 days after your intercourse day. 30 days is also good enough.

Mate,

There is a concept of a window period which essentially means that the if a person has got infected, the virus and the symptoms will become detectable in tests only after three months after the act. The virus takes about 90 days to grow to a size and the body starts developing antibodies to counter the virus. All aids tests essentially try to assess the growth of these hiv fighting antibodies. I strongly recommend that you take an elisa after three months.

I can understand your situation and empathise. Few of my friends have gone through the same anxiety and I know that the window period wait is soul shattering for many.

But statistically speaking, less than 1 percent prostitutes have hiv in india. Even if you have intercourse with a hiv positive women, the chances of you contacting the virus is less than 1. (Since not every fuck will mean infection). Chances are even less in case of oral sex. The exactness of the above stats can be questioned but the point here is that one really needs to fight the odds to contract this virus. This should provide some comfort to you my friend.

Window period for hiv is approximately 8 weeks. Chances of acquiring HIV on having unprotected sex is 1 out of 1300. There is also a possibility that a person may never acquire hiv during his lifetime.

But would recommend you get a proper test done after 8 weeks.

Now a days can any one assess how safe the hotel or lodge name, Yashraj on Fursungi road. My SP suggested me for night.
