No-they were on a completely separate blog, now pulled from the interweb. They were perfect for newbs. Doubt any of us have the energy to re-create this but there might be a solution. Stay tuned.

On the newbs front in general, specific questions that really are not easily answered by the ton of existing info (discussed next), are always welcomed and answered. But general, vague, and implicit "just tell me everything because I am soooooooo busy" do press buttons (and certainly RBs). It took us a huge effort of time, money, failed expeditions, getting lost, etc to piece together what exists. A lot of what a newb needs are really a question of understanding his tastes and budget-things only HE can answer. And again Berlin is already very organized. The really good local portal overview, Bobo's efforts, and a one minute look thru the various ISG Berlin / Germany threads really do give a quick lay of the land. You have all the key addresses, or links needed, enough to keep busy for weeks. It just takes a little effort, but really not a lot of effort. And with online translators, language (or the whopping 10-20 words needed to master things) not an issue.

Again, all this is driven by "what is needed", itself a very subjective thing. Can you really get more from some subjective view of a bordello vs just looking at its website? Does us saying this place is good, this is crap really help? I think not since there are good and bad girls everywhere. All way too subjective and it simply changes all the time. And then, what really matters is how an unknown person will get on with a girl who herself may or may not be known. Impossible to predict. While there is some overlap on tastes and performances obviously, I still am amazed how friends can enjoy someone to whom I am not the least attracted, and vice versa. That`s the way nature works, to keep the old gene pool diverse. Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

So with all its imperfections, there really is plenty of info out there to help anyone. And some simple overview may be in the works. But Berlin is unusually, already, well-organized in all this stuff if you simply take the time to access it.

I would respectfully disagree. First of all, let me say that I also agree that his request to be spoon fed was pretty shameless. However, my own foray into Berlin was very recent, and I just went through the research process. I can tell you that it is NOT laid out simply. The Bordello section of the forum is hidden. You can't access it via the main Germany directory. I agree with Bobo in that the bordello is the best option in Berlin. There are lots of good ones, yet there is very little discussion about them.

I also want to clarify your opinion. So if you think that there are millions of options, and that it is already laid out well enough if you just read the posts, then why are you discussing the possibility of a summary page? It shouldn't be necessary.

All I am saying is that it is easy to say RTFF. And lots of guys deserve it. But when a few sentences will do the job, why not be helpful? Its like some people think they are part of prestigious secret society, and they want to make every potential visitor "earn" their way in. If not, then go away. Cmon man. We can be grown ups about this.

All the better places can be easily viewed off the one page in eg Berlin Intim, Their websites have addresses, pictures, prices, opening hours, telephone numbers, what languages they speak, even sometimes detailed schedules (eg KD). Bobo's links by their very existence tell you what the "list" of good places is, all or so 8 of them. Then there are those who swear by their great diamonds in the rough finds at super cheapos, or gangbang clubs, or even the mean streets. The local search engines eg either Berlin Intim or Kaufmich, provide at least detailed info on perhaps 2000+ girls. You can even find cliquish high schoolers. And again - the Forum's search engine also really does work pretty well - you just have to use it. Girls names, bordellos names, even hotels. It gives you access to years of reports, sometimes just on a single page.

All the bordellos at least in the western part are of vaguely similar design standard, some slightly better than others and that is reflected in the price. Any look at their websites, and those of others more down-market, surely give the reader a sense of what to expect. The rest is really up to them. And in our age of GPS, smartphones, free on-phone (no need for real time internet, for most countries eg NavFree) navigators, if you cannot find a place, then surely you are doomed.

I'm going to have to agree with you on the old Angus Berlin offerings his blog and all his postings is what fueled me up with the knowledge and confidence to finally make a trip out to Germany also lots came from the nice folks on this Forum but would be great to see a guide blog or to see that old Angus blog back up again. I would do one myself but would be dated after sometime and I don't feel that I know enough since I don't live in Germany.

How old are these reports? Are they already in ROD, but way back? When I researched my trip, I don't remember seeing such a guide. Perhaps I didn't go back far enough. I have found that postings older than 2 years are of limited value. Things change so fast.

Is a comprehensive guide really necessary? I would be interested in it, but mostly academically. I would imagine that gangbangs and bareback clubs only interest a very small part of the punting community, perhaps for residents.

I know that some guys just asking to be spoon-fed without obviously doing any research is kind of bold, and often lame. But I travel quite a bit, and it helps for someone to give a quick one paragraph lay of the land, to guide your research. I would have loved it if someone had helped me with the few sentences I gave the other guy. Although there are exhaustive options in Berlin, I think that the basic layout for 90% of people is very simple. I thought that I spent an unnecessary amount of time to decipher what was in actuality someone could have told me in less than 30 seconds.

I honestly think that some forums have communities of people that can be a little too cliquey and harsh. I am not saying that that is the case about Berlin. The Phillipines forum is probably the best example. I understand the reflex to slap guys like this down. It seems bold to be asked to be spoon fed. But now I am planning a trip later this year to Dubai, and the layout there is very cryptic. It would be nice if someone gave me the lay of the land, but I am hesitant to ask in fear of getting slapped down and excluded from getting help. I feel the need to read more so I get the "tone" of the community there.

Not all newbs are newbs. Some people are just new in town. And when I see people harshly slapping down a newb, I know that they are someone who doesn't travel much.

Giving help is good karma, and a little kindness can go a long way. I like to think of us as men who travel the world and enjoy the finer things in life. Not a bunch of adolescent cliquey schoolgirls. Sometimes I have to check myself to avoid becoming the latter.

Perhaps it's time somebody wrote an essay on the basic scene in Berlin. FKK, Bordelles, gangbangs, Kinos, escort agencies. We could then post it in the Reports of Distinction, and refer all newbie callers like the last one to it as a beginner's guide. It'd be a bit of a mission to get it done, but it'd save a lot of time and forum space down the line.

There was some talk about this earlier and Admin itself made some noises that it was going to have some zone for this in major threads. I agree it would be useful for everyone, even Admin, even if it slowly got dated. Every city could have a kind of baseline lay of the lay land.

The local portals at least summarize the choices (admittedly in German)-there are several; I find Berlin Intim the most useful, as I said. At least this gets updated constantly, and has links to all flats and girls, with a pretty sophisticated search engine, etc.

Yep. It's a case where too much information equals no information IMHO. If it was possible to have some initial posts (not flowing chronologically with the other reports) that contained all the basic stuff or links it would be great.

Angus did an exercise of this sort about 4 years ago, breaking down his report into various sections, but it's somewhat out of date now. However Angus and his encyclopedic knowledge have left this arena, and we'd probably have to do a conglomerate effort now to get the job done.

Wanking is our number 1 man for the gangbang scene I believe, RB could probably cover several sections on his own, Kimino as Capo of the Social Committee can distribute the assignments to the most suitable members of the board and I'm just about qualified these days to check the punctuation and spelling at the end.

A quick summary would be:

You have two choices: FKK and bordello.

FKK Artemis is pretty much the only one in town.

There are many bordellos, but the ones that seem to have the most traffic are Royal, Kamilla Dee, and Van Kampen. If you google map them, you will see that they are all in the same area of Berlin, the SW corner of the "Ringstrausse" S-bahn line, at about 8 pm on a clock face. You can walk between them on a nice day.

I am sure that there is a big independent escort scene too, but I presume that would involve a lot of investigation and research. But you seem to be looking for quick, user-friendly places.
