I fully uphold your assertion here. In fact most of the the times many WG are publicized and promoted extensively here actually turn out to be run of the mill products. Very well articulated although it stems out of anger for a member who has wronged you, these are systemic problems which have plagued the forum since its inception.

I happened to log in to the forum after months and see that almost nothing has changed. I didn't expect anything to change.

This business about sharing contacts is a personal decision and the discretion extends to the bona fides of the member seeking contacts. IMHO contacts should be shared with only those newbies who have shown initiative in working to develop their own contacts and are not simply lurkers who have benefitted as a result of uber-friendly members who share without caution (not only their own contacts but those they have received from others who do not report as often).
