The best cities for mongering if you are new to the place according to me are in Germany. Berlin is a good option since other costs are low and it is very easy to get around the city. Short time starts from 30 euro /20 minutes to 50 euro /20 minutes. All brothels have set rates and there is no hassle of haggling or differential pricing for tourists. Hotels costs 35 euro a day for single room. Shared rooms are much cheaper. Travelling inside the city is 7 euro / day with BVG pass. Food will be about 5-8 euro a meal, even less if you eat from supermarket. I have visited pretty much every major brothel in the city and can give you a review if you plan to visit there.

Another very cheap but good option is Athens, 20 euro per shot. Everything else is quite cheap also.

If he has been a member since 1 year still no FR there are two things which are sure.

1. he has have not read any FR. Because if he had he would have already got some good pointers at least the MP.

2. Not a monger in real sense. Holding yourself for 1 year for first deed. A commendable control (Pun intended).

I would say suggest him some MP so that he tastes the First Blood. Then wait for FR. He should understand you ripe if you sow. Contribute in any way before you ask.

I always check if the person has made a genuine contribution. Be it a bad experience or good, the point is they should have tried and shared the experience. (I've seen some members have only posted 30-40 times just asking for digits).

If they haven't, I politely tell them that I can't help them unless they explore and try on their own before asking for help.

I feel that's a fair way to do it. When I started off, I applied the same to myself. I went out and explored, I had a few bad experiences, however it always helps you in the long run. Only after my own exploration did I start to ask for references. Simply reading posts of other members will never give you the same experience as actually going out there.
