One of the indies in Mumbai from Mira Road is quoting 10 k for 2 hours and 15 k for 4 hours. Is that a reasonable amount to pay? Visiting from Pune and have no idea about Mumbai rates. Please provide guidance.

If 4-5 star hotel is booked, most probable reason for denial could be. Chick is not presentable. If chick looks obvious "pro", they will deny entry considering their reputation.

Also, there is one difference at Mumbai, if one has booked double occupancy and check in alone, some hotels (not all) are asking name of second person at the time of check-in. Sometimes it's too embarrassing if you don't know the name of joiner.

So, if deal is final, ask female about her first name on ID she is going to give to hotel guy, this will ease your comfort level or else just give some common name and tell him that this is her family name, we call her by this name. Hehe.

You are correct they ask for the name at check in itself. And once a girl gave me her so called common name even after 10 times confirming with her that its on the ID she was to give at the reception. And boom when she submitted her ID it had a different name. I told the guy at the counter that the one I gave him was a common name I always used for her. He said the ID should match the name provided while booking. Boooom clean bold. I lost my entire amount just for a stay of about 2-3 hrs and had to walk into another hotel. Uff after that I never check in alone. Anyways best is to walkin together.

I am from Mumbai and was planning to book any good hotel for a night to spend time with an inde.

But I came across following rules in MMT:

1. The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a 'couple' if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. MakeMyTrip will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.

Are these rules actually followed??

This happened to me long time back when I had booked it online. Don't remember the hotel name but they refused and even after giving ID card of the girl they said local ID's are not accepted. One of the ID's have to be out of the city. I had to let go my money. It was a big turn off and day which was well planned was ruined. Bophsep is right they direct you to the customer care of the website and show you all rules and regulations. After that have never booked through any site anytime and will never do it. If you have booked the room directly with the Good hotel with double occupancy most of the hotel will ask the guest for ID and they allow the guest. At the same time some hotel which are not GFE and have booked through site like MMT and Goibigo they come up with this rules and regulation, They very well know we can't shout at them they simply say ask the booking site Customer care we can't give room. So Basically it is at the discreet of the Hotel. I book the room through these site also but with the hotel whom I am a frequent traveler so that they can't refuse a regular customer. Never taken the risk of booking a unknown hotel through MMT & Goibio.

Was in the Mira road vicinity and this spa had a deal on JD, so decided to be adventurous and try some place new. Therapist was a girl called Kimmy from Manipur who seemed very timid and scared. I didn't have the heart to ask her for extras. She rushed out as soon as the massage was done without waiting for a tip even though I was a complete gentleman. Manager mentioned that they have a total of 4 therapists, all from the north east. Looks like a no extras place.

I've mentioned the name of the spa and therapist so that you can avoid if you're looking for extras. Please PM me if I missed anything or should have tried a different therapist.

Soumya spa. This has just been taken over by a new management so ignore it for now. Take the road opposite it and take a right in 500 meters. Search for a thai spa on the left opposite the hospital.

Ask for kim and have fun, carry 500 rs as a tip.

Ubon thai spa. Visit again and get a thai, have a chilled BEER and have have fun, carry 1. 5 K since you are new.

Ignore LE sutra and chembur, PM me if you are based in bandra or khar.

Went to four spas in last two weeks.

1. Soumya spa. Great therapist, reasonable rates on nearby. No extras.

2. Ubon Thai, Linking Road. Had purchased nearbuy. But the receptionist refused to accept even though I'd booked few hours in advance, claiming I need to book at least a day in advance. Finally agreed at 100 rs more than near buy. Poor massage and no extras. There are boxes instead of rooms and tiny bathroom. Waste on both counts.

3. Royal orchid in Chembur. Average massage but good deal fir 90 minutes. Got scared when I saw some probably harmless mole on the therapist face. No extras, neither desired.

4. LE Angdai spa in LE Sutra hotel: Single room, single therapist. Very good massage. Therapist was trained for 5 months in a Noida college. She knew lot and good knowledge of massages and body points. But no hints of extras.

So basically enjoyed massage in 2 out of 4 places with no extras. That's life, I guess.

P.S.: Those who write confirmed extras in Ubon, Aura etc are not right. It all depends on your luck, therapist, time and other factors.

If you went to uT, any branch, met a thai girl and still struck out, then you are in a very small, unlucky club. Maybe you need to. See if you look like LE 😛. If you took an NE, then you need to improve your rtff skills.
