I don't think that's wrong at all. If anyone would offer me a genuine indie list asking for fair monetary compensation for the same, I am up for it.

One also needs to consider that the other person has spent considerable time and effort to procure the same. Whenever a list gets shared free of charge it is abused. This is what happened with Bluevelvet from Delhi. Almost 50% of the members re-shared and re-shared his contact list to a point that it became dead with most indies changing their numbers or threatening with police complaint.

The guy is really generous. But then this is India and if you get something for free its not valued.

Ideally there should be a balance, you share some common contacts to maintain forum brotherhood and if you have an exclusive list you can charge.

My two cents! A list of GF hotels, indies and spas. City specific. Wouldn't mind paying 1/2 k for 40-50 contacts. Definitely worth it.
